I've been debating on whether or not to put him in the mod for the longest time now, and finally found a way to do so without hurting balance (how many Elven heroes are there anyway ). Still have to make sure it's totally possible coding wise, but it should work. So until the official update, I'll leave how he'll be implemented secret.
As for the model itself... It really does pain me to give him a beard. In Lord of the Rings, Tolkien describes him as "grey and old" and that "his beard was long"; however, in a later essay on the Princes of Dol Amroth, he states that Elves had no facial hair. I spent 10 minutes just staring at the model trying to decide which way to go. I went with the beard because Lord of the Rings is the more known/read source over the smaller portion of an essay found in the Unfinished Tales. The costume itself is a design I had created a few months ago, and one that I've been dying to put on screen for the longest time.

Great skin job Celeglin, he really looks like what I pictured Cirdan looking like. I can't wait to see what Elven thing you'll pull out of your hat next
Great job,

no offense but it doesnt realy look like am elf :( then again, probly because i dont see ears
Well reading Tolkien's description of Cirdan doesn't really make you think of an Elf: "[v]ery tall he was, and his beard was long, and he was grey and old, save that his eyes were keen as stars . . ." (Grey Havens, RotK). Not exactly how you'd picture an Elf, is it? I did try to put emphasis on his eyes, but that's rather difficult with a low-poly model. Oh, and by the way: if you think my Cirdan looks un-Elf'y, don't look at the film's Cirdan .
So are you giving him ring powers?
Nope. He had given his ring to Gandalf by the time of this mod.
