hehehe, just the head is 528 !!! it is made exactly the same shape as the real helmet, with overlapping playes, its not just a skin, i might scrap it and do a low poly one lol

anyway, try to remove the horses dress, it will help you for the animations as well (unless you werent planning to animate it )
also, redo completely the face with a maximum of a 100 polys, which is already quite high ...
and then, try to see if you can cut down some details around the legs and torso.

Exporting with shadows might but it's only ONE unit. Keep it in the pristine state it is...
