Did you add bones or change the existing ones? If not, you shouldn't have to give the bones any export settings (as you will be referencing the bones from a set random_skl.w3d file when on the final export screen).

lol but does anyone know the answers to the other questions?

like in Q4, i see that gutowergrd_skn looks just like that in the art/w3d file and the export, but in the ini reference it says GUTowergrd_SKN. do ihave to capitalize certain parts or do i just name it whatever the name is without different caps?

and in the aset,dat, is it only a string entry or is it something different?

No it's a dat fiormat created from the assetbuilder that came with EA patch 1.02 or you can use Sy's program from my site under tools.
