Anyone else notice how the Mig Renegade doesn't have to reload? It shoots a missile then two missles without regaining its yellow ammo icon.

C-130-Like the general power drop, but is reusable (needs a special runway?). Comes with 8 SpecOps. (btw I found that a unit in ZH doesn't need a parachute to jump from a plane. It will only take about 1/60 damage. How to code it so it will use a parachute, not sure if that's possible though)

B-52H-Armed with a EXTREMELY high explosive cruise missile, the missile must first be bought through upgrades (think USA vehicle drones, except a weapon. You can do it), then brought to within range and fired. All players are warned when the missile is loaded. (again, special runway?)

B-1B Lancer-Armed with multiple cluster bombs (think the gen power, but severely toned down) that disperse on launch

F-29 Polecat-An awkward plane with forward facing wings (a la S-47 Berkut). Armed with AIM-9X advanced Sidewinders and AIM-120 ARMAAMs. M61 gun can fire at air targets only (this plane is mainly an interceptor)

MH/AH/OH-6 Little Bird-A succesful light helicopter, this starts out as a regular scout helicopter, but can be upgraded to either MH or AH variants. MH variant can ferry 4 soldiers to the battlefield, and AH is armed with dual miniguns and rockets. Suffers from lack of armor.

KC-130 Stratotanker-During a time of base contest, if your airbases are destroyed, up to 4 aircraft can run off the KC's fuel stores, giving time for you to rebuild your airfields after an attack. This will be a General Power and will run like a spy drone. ordering aircraft to "land" on it will hide the aircraft and add it to the KC's list of 4 aircraft. Not sure if this whole thing is possible, with the aircraft not being able to enter transports, but perhaps worth a look.

V-22 Osprey-A tilt rotor aircraft with the capacity to carry up to 12 troops. It can be armed with a 20mm cannon for defense. Can be upgraded to fireports and cannon. Faster than a commanche or apache but slower than a raptor or F-15. No combat drop support. General Power Unit (<--Balance)

AH-1W Supercobra-Light assault helicopter, light armor, 3.75in rocket pods and 30mm gatling gun. Can be Upgraded to dual Hellfire Missles. Vulnerable, but fast. A quickstrike helicopter.

CHINA

Mig-31 Foxhound-This import can run rings around even modern aircraft. Its Gsh-6-23 23mm cannon, AA-6 Acrid longrange missles and AA-8 Aphid Shortrange missles can rip apart enemy aircraft. It can be upgraded to ARM-31 ASRAAM experimental missiles.

Su-25 Frogfoot-This tankbuster from Russia can decimate an armored column. The Soviet answer to the West's A-10 Warthog, this outdated yet nevertheless effective aircraft can make a tank addict's habits history. Armed with a 30mm AO-17A cannon, and can be upgraded with either 10 FAB-500 iron bombs, 2 64-round rocket pods (needs to land to reload), 10 AT-2 Swatter antitank missiles (not as effective as --->), 5 R-26 Vikihr Antitank missles (1 hit kill two-shaped charge warheads), or 5 Cluster Munitions. Its cannon can be trained on helicopters as well as ground targets (soviets proudly stated this), ripping them apart if it can connect (needs to be close in range). Can be seperately upgraded with the AtG ordanance to include AA-8 Aphids for air defense. Can be researched at Propaganda center to upgrade to Su-40 Super Frogfoot, which come with Iron bombs plus one of the above items, excluding another iron bomb load. Naturally, quite expensive.

Mil-18 Hip-China's imported troop transport is the old school answer to the V-22. Not armed initially, can hold 10 troops. Can be upgraded to "C" version with larger payload (14 troops) or "H" version with 4x32 autoreloading rocket pods, which reduces payload to 6 troops.

J-7E Fishbed-China's copy of the MiG-21 Fishbed has better armament and avionics. Has 2 PL-2 Medium range missiles and a 20mm cannon.

GLA

A-1 Skyraider-The Vietnam war "Sandy" has undergone changes by GLA designers. It now has dual miniguns and 4 guided rockets, along with a napalm bomb bought from Vietnam Rebels.

Cessna of Death-This Cessna has been mutilated by terrorists and manipulated into a flying suicide bomb. It flys at low altitude until popping up to dive into its target, releasing a small tactical nuclear warhead and spreading toxins around a medium area.

Hotair Balloon-This seemingly harmless recreational ballon hides a dark secret: it can coordinate GLA attacks (by increasing attack power like Frenzy) and drop small bombs off the edge. It is stealthed until it bombs or rallys troops, then having to wait 1 minute to stealth again. poorly armored and slow moving, it relies on stealth and is mainly a 1 time attack coffin.

Plane of terror-This 747 is under GLA control and is loaded with a large nuclear warhead in the hold. It is stealthed until it begins its dive, at which point it is usually too late.

I'll think of more for Militia soon.

MILITIA

Bell Longranger-The enhanced version of a popular civilian and police helicopter, the Jetranger, the Longranger is extended by 4 meters, giving room for 6 more people. The Militia is now using it as a gunship and troop transport. Armed with dual .50cal machine guns on the skids, the Longranger now has an enhanced sensor system, allowing it to find concealed enemies. It has room for 12 troops, and may be upgraded with 2.75in Rocket Pods.

McDonnell Douglas MD-500 Defender-This recreational helicopter has been altered to serve the light assault and scouting mission of the Militia. Armed with a single 7.62 Minigun and dual .50 MG pods, it also has room for 2 troops. It may be upgraded to heavy MGs, which replace the .50 pods with 12.7mm cannon as found on the BRDM scout vehicle.

Mil Mi-2 Hound-This scout vehicle was bought on the black market to serve the transport and observation tasks of the Militia forces. It sports one side mounted 7.62 light machine gun, but can be upgraded to rocket pods. It can carry 6 troops.

Boeing B-29 Superfortress-There are still a handful of B-29s remaining, and the Militia uses them to serve as the bomber role. Unfortunately, they aren't as in good condition as 1945, and are quite fragile. They carry a light bombload and have a tail and dorsal gunner for fighter defense. They can be upgraded with armor but with reduced speed.

I do not understand why people insist on bringing back World War II equipment. The B-29 was obsolete by the Korean War, by anybody's standards.

If you want the militia to have a light bomber, give them the A-4 Skyhawk, which is still very common today.

I agree with Karl cuz this is just a game you could add in a super duper all desroying non-excistant plane to a game if you really wanted to.
Besides they still manufacture Spitfires , Me109 ect by orderring it from private manufactureres, but that will cost TOO much for an average joe. Probably militia might buy these if they had the money to do that.

IMHO, you should just give 'em a Lear or a Cessna with some bombs on a strapped on undercarriage. It gets the job done, and is relatively cheap.

Not a Lear, a Gulfstream can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. Yes, A-4 Skyhawk is good, or an Il-10 Sturmovik, they still produce those in limited quantity.

Plus the GLA uses the B-29 as their cargo plane. Look closer at it. Its an unarmed version probably from Korean War.

The plane sort of looks like b-29 but the b-29 has MUCH greater wingspan that the GLA version.
And just compare the GLA version with tha one below.

B-29 info

Doesn't look like the same plane do they?

It's the same one which drop the nervegas from the SW

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Andre 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Despite being uber late on answering the Renegade question from smooth, here's the answer, the reason it doesn't reload is because it has two different missile weapons, only one ammo pip can be displayed at any given time which is the first weapon that has one. Each missile weapon can fire only one missile, it has two so they fire at the same time instead of one after another, then it also has the UGB weapon which fires two bombs.
