What do you mean, there is no file called install.ccr show us a pic or tell us what it is actully saying.

any ways heres what is says:

Detected Red Alert 2:Yuri's Revenge files...
Detected C&C:Reloaded (v0.99b2) in the same RA2:YR folder...
C&C:R must be installed to "activate / deactivate" correctly with this program.

File "install.ccr" not found & this file is necessary to install the mod.
If you haven't this file in the same folder of this program (C&C:R modification manager) you can do one new file doing a copy of this program & changing the file with the name: install.ccr
After of this step, run again the program to continue...

Thats just great I can't view the pic for some reason but anyways what you just told me install.ccr file might be part of the older files did you try update because I had a problem likes this once a while back and I don't even have the file but it still works.

i downloaded the 0.99b2 full version not the update
should i download the 0.99b1 and then update it?

before i updated the mod manager it said that i could download a new one at the CNC Reloaded home page but there wasn't a place to download it

PS do you have MS word, i could send you a pic with that

do tou know if theres a conflict with XP SP2 cause i had to restart in safe mode the restart
again normally in XP to install RA2 like one of the forums here said

I think .99b1 is most of the files are because I updated from .99b1 but i still needed .99b2 to finish the update and now I have to update again since 2.53v just came out and no I don't have MS word 2000 or higher because it was removed when I had to reboot my computer and I lost the disk to reinstall it and I haven't brought a new one yet and I only have is MS word 97 for right now.

when i put the mod in its own folder it works perfect and then used the v0.99b1 to v0.99b2 patch it worked perfectly

Alright you problely don't want to do this but if you have downlaoded the complete downlaod of .99b2 it should be on there or changed and since you don't have it you should redownload the .99b2v from C&C reload site and see what happens and if it still says the same thing ask FS-21 when he comes on and now I have to go hope you get it working.

Hmmm... Someone regretting the ridicule of my "English 101" thread?

Anyway, make sure your YR is patched, make sure you have no residual mod files, and download the latest version of the mod manager that you can find, then check to make sure that has no pending updates.

This menssage appers when you unzipped directly the C&C:reloaded files in the RA2 game folder intestead of create a RA2 subfolder & unzipping in the new folder the C&C:R files.

Because I haven't found C# source to detect the name of the program that is being executed I posted the text:

After of this step, run again the program to continue...

install.ccr file is only a copy of the Mod Manager.exe with renamed name (why I made this? because if the user changes the name of the "Mod Manager.exe" by another one like "hello.exe" the installation will not know how is called the Mod Manager , I hope discover how to solve this limitation soon).

From the v0.99b1 only I deleted a file called "mversion.ccr" because the code inside this file was added into another file & wasn't necessary (to be true MM deleted it )
