Oh my god I never posted this picture from April.
Ammonite from the Lower Cretaceous, roughly 100 million years old. 16 inches in diameter and 35 pounds.
Also me in the field. Woo.

That's pretty big.
No kidding. 6-8 inch diameter is considered pretty large for an ammonite, and my is twice that.
Also 35 lbs is quite a bit to carry a mile to the vans

Meh, I had only put it on once when we started, this was taken a good 6 hours later and I was far too engaged to even think about sunblock once we actually begun.

I had to record some videolog for school, and I don't own a camera or anything and my old webcam records what seems to be a maximum of 12 pixels, so I had to get a (cheap) new one. Today I share with you the first picture it's ever taken, and probably, save for some freak accident, the last.

@ Chocolate Star, although hairstyle is something people decide for their own, but I feel you man, here in the Netherlands many guys let their hair grow very long, imo it looks untended, but hey, who are we to decide .
