LOL PR 6.0 is really really great (I play PR since 2.5) i liked every Version, BUT why are you deleting in new updates some of the old Units???for example the mao-tank i liked in 2.5 that you can upgrade it with 3 cannons,why have you deleted that (only one example). But im here to say something about 6.0 :lol: why cant my Topolm (the nukecannon at the nukegeneral) shoot??? also my Chinese bomber and the tank generals Gatling-gun?! I think thats a big problem^^ but the new UNITS i LOOOVE it ,so it woould be great if you can help me ^^

Programmfehler arn't immer leicht, zu finden oder zu befestigen, zeigen sich einige Programmfehler für einige Menschen und arn't dort für andere.

hmmm yes ;) its nice that you are replying so fast , so for what is the upgrade "taunt" ?! when you klick on a standart soldier he has got this upgrade but i dont know for what this is... VANGUARD IS THE BEST^^

...I think PR6.0 is really great, but two things I dont like so much: 1.The Militia is not sooo strong against the other nations , can you add a few buildings and/or Units to them??? And 2. Can you add a few ships???Because a transporter or a submarine would be great.

Vanguard, I have a question.

I downloaded PR 6.0 yesterday, and I used it right over PR 3.0 (with patch) - when I tried to uninstall Project Raptor and then just install 6.0 fresh, I got an installer error.

Anyways, Im playing the game and the only new difference I notice is the AI - I don't see any of the new units, such as the KA-50, or the SW's Engineer, or anything like that.

Is this because I didn't download PR 4.0 and 5.0 before 6.0? Or what else could it be? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im the same guy who posted above.

The specific error I get is:

Error 1335. The cabinet file 'Data1.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package.

However, when I install 6.0 over 3.0, it works fine, and I get the new loading screen (ITS OUR TURN), etc., but none of the new units I keep hearing about on the boards.

Have you tried doing a complete uninstall and reinstall of the entire game? Try that first. Yes, I know it's a pain in the butt, but it usually works. Below is the instructions that I have given others in the past.

Anytime you intend to uninstall any kind of mod it is highly recommended that you uninstall the mod, Generals, and Zero Hour as well. This will prevent you from having any remnant files hanging around that uninstallers miss. These remnant files could (and usually do) mess up Zero Hour, or the next mod you intend to install.

After everything that has been uninstalled, then you will need to go to the following folders (using windows explorer or similar program) and delete any remaining files and folders:

C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour
C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command and Conquer Generals

After all of that has been completed. Go ahead and reinstall all of your Generals and Zero Hour programs and patches in this order:

1.) Command & Conquer Generals.
2.) Generals Retail Patch 1.7 – Available at: http://www.eagames.c...ls/us/demos.jsp
3.) Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour Expansion Pack.
4.) Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour Patch 1.04 at: http://www.eagames.c...ls/us/demos.jsp
5.) What ever mod you want to install.

Actually, maybe I dont need it - I got my game a year ago, well after ZH had come out - my basic Generals game was probably up to date.

I did everything you said (full re-install, everything) and I still get the same Data1 error.

Are you sure Im not supposed to have ANY versions of PR to overwrite?
