Does anyone have any idea about the Data1.cab error?

Alright, Im sorry for posting so many times in a row, but.....

I think Ive found the issue. I can install the older versions of PR because you created what seems to be a custom installer for them, while the new 6.0 is in a windows installer or something like that (In simple terms, the old ones have the icon of the Raptor while this one has the three arrows).

Would there be ANY way you could release PR 6.0 under your other installer? I believe that would solve my issues.....

I think this because I looked up my problem online, and apparently it is related somehow to the windows installer.

That would also explain why the same issue happened with a mod I installed to test it - I can install the mods with custom installers, but not those using the Windows installer.

Ive got a tip for you (I was the guy with the non-shootable units  ) Have you deleted every Project Raptor that you had installed before???And you must delete the folder "C&C Generals zero Hour" in your "my documents" folder , i had a error like that before (was called technical difficulties) , thats sucks with C&C the most mods make errors , but at PR i never had a error . bye bye PR-Lover

You also might want to uninstall everything again, delete any remaining files or folders that were mentioned in the posts above, and then download and install Project Raptor again.

After running this by someone a little more knowledgeable than me on this subject, the feeling on this end is that there may have been an error during the download of Project Raptor. Though, we're not 100% confident on that, but it's worth a try.

Let us know if that solved your problem or not.

Yeah, that didn't solve the problem, I deleted everything when I did my first install. I put my old PR downloads on a disc, and put it aside (so I could at least have up to version 3.0 if I couldn't get 6.0 working) and wiped everything out.

I re-downloaded the PR 6.0, and installed. Same issue.

I googled the error I had, and I too am getting the notion it has something to do with my download - apparently this error becomes present in MANY different kinds of programs, ranging from game downloads to Windows Program CD's.
