yes the game already does have the corpses remain for a short period, i have extended this to approx 30s...

We already have blood particle fx in the game Cal.

yes but the Tau bleed blue, so i've added that, i've also improved the 'death by explosion' fx by making it more gory, not to mention changing the fx for marines so they spark aswell as bleed

Tau blood = blue = ink, thus Tau = Squids.

the tau are of the blue-er type but yeah.. .yo ucan see the similarity

anyways... what i've done is add blue blood splats exactly the same as the red ones for 'oomies' as well as larger blood 'fountains' (both red and blue) that are created when something dies from an explosion... this looks pretty nice and less tacky than, say, huge chunks of mangled flesh:P

on the marines, over a threshold damage amount he'll start bleeding as normal but otherwise you see sparks on his armour... lovleh

the tau will also spark below a certain threshold though it's much lower than the marines' one..

they're the same as the ones that you see on tanks when they're attacked by light weapons
