no olli he was talking about a crop duster hybred for the flame general "not" a gunship. How i understand it he wants an aircraft that sprays out a firestorm similer to a cropduster with toxin, that imo makes more sence to what he is asking imo.
But if he is talking about a gunship kinda aircraft then i will agree with you but i very much doubt it since i am sure he has played the public alpha and so i am sure he has used the iron dragon before, thus the reason i think he means what i interpreted as because thats the only aircraft that Flame gen does not have.
This is also why i said "phoenix" bomber because it is closest thing your get to a 100% napalm bomber with makes evil firestorms.
Anyways does not matter we both have understood it in diff ways and so 1 of us could be right over the other, and my opinion is its a bad idea i would not want an aircraft hanging in a zone deplying a firestorm constantly because it just makes it a sitting duck for AA.
Phoenix bomber does napalm strike better than all Aircrafts imo.
And beside it i wanna make a firewall then simple use artillery and force fire where u want it your soon have a nice wall of flames.

i know it does that olli but it does not do what he wants, the iron dragon as stated is a gunship and is a direct fire weapon it only attacks when there is a target and so the fire will only be a small spot where the shell hits.... personly the gunship i think should fire thermite rounds because its a gunship it has a howitzor on it.
But anyways the differance is he wants an aircraft that can circle leaving a firewall/storm effect over a large area is how i understand it, similer to the way a dragon tank can put up a fire wall. I am assuming he wants to use it as being able to lay up a thick wall of flames for aslong as the aircraft does not get shot down.

but... a flame throwing plane... hmm i dunno. i dont think it is need tbh, because flame gen has a unique set of aircraft that are very powerful

well the hell child Ka-50 literally throws all types of flame... it has thermite missiles, and naplam shells to fire as a targeted power... i think it would be un needed to have a flamethrower heli/plane... although it is quite a cool idea

Yeah, a jet with crossbows and a tank with a sword instead of a cannon... Armor piercing axes for infantry. Anti-aircraft spears. Hand-made energy shields. Knights with explosive reactive armor. Rapid fire anti-missile slings. Homing arrows. Strategic intercontinental catapults firing nuclear rocks.Maybe a flamethrower heli...

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

Lol damn i think that would be one hell of a funny mod if someone made a mod with that sort of weapons and such lmao.
O no thinking bout it the idea would suck on generals or an rts u would need it on a FPS so u can see the detail so much better
