exactly the same way you'd add a model (art folder in your .big file + asset.dat)

Another problem....if the model shows up perfectly with the skin on in the .BIG file, but all that shows up ingame is a shadow and he is able to be clicked on, is that a problem with the asset? Because I think i did everything right and its perfect in the .BIG

bounding bow ? bounding box you mean ;)

If the bounding box shows up ingame, make sure its parameters are the following :

Export transform
Export geometry (bone)
either AABOX or OBBOX

and to make sure your model shows up, make sure you added it correctly to asset.dat, and that you added your asset.dat to your .big file

I did that, and in the .big file when im viewing the model it shows up correctly and with the skin on, so I KNOW I got the .BIG file correct, I just dont know what could have happened. Adding to the asset, what I do is drag the files into the assetbuilder window, and save to existing asset.dat (a copy of the real asset, located on my desktop for now) and then move the changed asset.dat to the BFME directory instead of the regular one (which I move out.) is there anything wrong with that?

I would rather add the asset.dat to your big file

it will prompt you to give it a name, name it asset.dat

I did that too. ;) Ive tried almost everything possible I think. In my .BIG file are the perfectly appearing model, skins and such, and the asset.dat named asset.dat, and the others are appropriately named art\textures\ whatever or art\w3d\ whatever, but I cant think of anything I left out that would make a shadow and be clickable ingame.
