As long as they ditch the Gay Cube controler layout and go back towards the N64 style yes, cause oh man did I tear it up on Perfect Dark with those controlers. I am still gonna get PS3.

do not go for intendo revolution: i have seen those damn controllers and it was a horrific cross between a DVD remote and a controller but i have nothing against intendo i used to love my super intendo console with those strange games with the monkeys and the gorrilla called donkey (weird name who calls their son donkey?)
in any case its your decision not mine but i'm just saying what i know about it. :D

The ps3 will cost an arm and a leg and personally the controllers being boomerang shaped, have an awkwardness about them and on the other hand the performance distance between the xbox 360 and the ps3 is tiny but the price differences are not, one of the good points is its game line up like killzone 2 but from my end (the UK) ps3 may not be realeased until january 2006 and it may be much longer than that!

The xbox 360 is the pretty bird of my choice since i can afford it quite easily and the game line up is great (all right children lets sing the halo 3 song january 2006)
although the xbox 360 is inferior in performance compared to the ps3 at least i can wallo around in the world of halo 3. :p

choose wisly and if you want to buy all 3: by all means!

Perfect Dark is the best first person shooter ever made, even against Halo.

I might be getting a better computer for Christmas, widening the possibility of getting Generals, Zero Hour, and PR.

Definately. I don't see the guns in Halo having secondary fire modes. Have you gotten the Cheat: Unlimited Ammo, No Reloads? It allows freakin' rapid fire rocket launchers.

Does PD have a co-op mode for single player? If it does that's the first game I'm downloading on the Rev.

It has Co-op. and counter-op, where one player gets to play as one of the Grunts you slaughter. If they die, then they respawn as another guard/soldier/alien.

If you guessed correctly, then the plot is incredibly big, involving:

a. Secret Government Agencies

b. Area 51

c. I know the end, but I'm not telling. ^_^

Counter co-op sounds awesome. I've been looking for a chance to play as the bad guys against good guys, both human, in a story-driven game.

Edit: slight spoiler removed

I didn't want to spoil the gaming experience for you, so I deliberately let out the aliens.

Multiplayer is as good as Xbox Live, I'm not kidding. There are so many weapons, items, levels, scinarios (damn word), simulant (bot) types, that you could literally play forever.
