Well, i'm supposed to get this collection today! I can't wait to get that poster too! And if it proves to give out errors, then i will exchange it for Star Wars: Empire At War.

I've had the First Decade for about 4 days now, and everything has worked fine. No problems what so ever.

The only error i've seen is in the Manual where they've still got the names for the Missile Silo and Chemical Waste Facility mixed up. It goes to show that EA just copied and pasted the original info and didn't even bother to read through it

Oh! Can anyone test Rock Patch v1.07 with Yuri's Revenge from The First Decade?

according to PD, 1.08 should work with TFD when its released. there are like 20 bytes different between the 2 versions, probably CD/DVD checking stuff, and the patcher simply needs to know that those are the 2 versions, and to ignore it and patch the exe anyway, as for the existing patches, i don't know.

i have TFD and the rock patch doesn't work on it so i cant play as epsilon

I have TFD.
My old generals stoped working for no reason...
Actually TFD has no real downsides...
If you don't want to use the launcher (Causes mod problems)
Go to (F:/) Or whatever you use and click on C&C/(Game) and
click on the direct loader. No problems.

What about CNC: Ultimate`s ability to launch RA2: YR at Win7x64? I have an issue  - ***Fatal*** String Manager failed to initialise properly.

I tried to use winXP compartibility mode but game still reports String Error.

Hmmm... you sure your antivirus isn't preventing it to run?

 

AFAIK adminmode is enough with a compat.

While I'm also a Win7 user, mine is x86 (32-bit) so I can't even test out your issues. Sorry.

Is it possible to be the problem of 64-bit compartibility?

There are just so many things this game has issues with, from Intel graphic cards to everything... the graphic engine is vastly from 1995.

 

I might gonna ping a 64-bit user to this topic, but honestly I don't want to point stuff when I don't know.

I use Win7 64bit and YR works without even any compatibility options.
