well if this mod was going to be realistic the tiger tank 1 and 2 would be almost invisable on the 42 powder howzer could destory it in theory the german men would have the panzrfaust which could destory the main usa tank in one shot the german comet (plane) would not be able to be shot at by aa guns and other planes the v1s could be shot down v2s couldnt the V3 should be in the mod (hopeing) germans would have more differnet tank verisons than ever one else panzer1-5 a-j germans would have sam site (surface-to air-missiles) and so on so it might be kind of hard to make it realistic <_<

V3? Isn't this mod supposed to be realistic? The Germans never used a "V3" in combat.

I havent heard any talks of a V3 being put in, but I am certian V2s are.
This mod will be realistic as far as weapons and such go, but gameplay will always come first. Which means the tiger will not be "invisable"

Yes if there is a clash of gameplay and realism, gameplay almost always wins.

A mortar round would probably kill or seriously damage a german heavy tank like a Tiger because the top armour is much weaker (thiner) compared to the rest of the body as enemy tank don't usually attack its roof :p However, it would be pretty hard for a mortar team to pinpoit a tiger and strike it. If it did happen it would probably be just dumb luck.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Unless the gameplay can be re-worked to be fun and realistic which for the most part it can because we are making a TC. For example Soldiers: Heroes of World War 2 is insanely realistic. You snipe a driver out of any vehicle where is is visible. Or you can blow it to bits with a tank. Or you can pound the side door with machine gun fire riping it off and exposing him although he most likely already is dead from the bullet going through the thin door. Or disable the engine with a lucky rifle shot and then kill them. Or set mines. Or smash the window with bullet fire damaging the driver. The game has so much detail and realism it is mind boggling, yet it is still fun. It's too bad they included StarForce :(
