Sorry to revive a topic, but...


I really get the feeling people feel that modders owe them. I really don't see how that works. I wouldn't be so fussed about people asking when it's gonna be released, how close it is to release, or whatever, but this thread got my goat by the fact people made comments like "just remember the peeps who have been supporting this mod."

I mean what the fuck? Why should they? It's not as though you're contributing anything or winning any points by making posts like that! Nobody's working on this mod except the team.

A more pertinent question would be: "Is the team going to continue work on this, with OW2 being created as well, or will it be left in its current state?"

Since the answer is obviously 'Yes, we are continuing work on it', that question has already been answered.

Still, show a little bit of respect. While I don't see asking for a progress report as being a swear word in the way MiG Eater and his Team Revenge team do, I would, were I working on a mod, be rather insulted by fans demanding I work on the mod...

I don't have much more to add...except I will still, at some point, prolly get Generals to play this mod, even though I hold otherwise no interest in Warhammer

I don't think that many of us bother to paint the models much these days, Jugger does... I also own a few of the box games but I'm too lazy to paint, and I'm pretty shit at it anyways.. Might pick it up again over my ultra long summer holiday So you're not the only one who has little interest in warhammer...

..though I do have the terrible cravings to buy a squad of grey knight terminators...

We've decided this will be practically the final release of OW1. We want to make it basically finished, not buggy or anything. We're working with a threadbear team to try and get it finished to a quality standard.

It's a lot easier to sit back and 'demand' stuff, rather than actually work on a mod. I don't care if other's can work faster. They can. I know they can. You think I'm actually put back by what you said? Well news flash genius, I'm not. It doesn't change a thing. We owe you nothing.

During our test games, we've decided to add in more contents than we planned so.. this is what takes time..

Also we're seriously in need of a new AI coder, stat.. we're gonna be polishing and adding new shit until we find one..

like i said before just leave there guys to it pestering them wont make it go faster now will it. im as anxious to play the finished version as anyone but moaning wont get you anywhere. i do have to say i think your choice in space marines sucks though lol.
