I've played with it for a while, it was ok bit confusing - I can't be arsed to work it out properly at the moment, so I'm fine with playing other peoples mods for the time being. They're the main reason it's still installed for me.

...you people do know if you open the console and type 'showracemenu' you can change your race, looks hair etc.? Just make sure you save (Reopen console menu if options greyed out) and instantly load the new save you make to make sure you don't have stats reset to the race's default.

I'm still stuck in this game, i was 3 weeks ago. I bought the haunted house in anvil, and i had to find the seller to tell me how to get rid of em. Now i know there is a secret room but i need him to tell me how to get it. It says i have to convince him to do it. But i maxed out the disposition but he won't do it. Anyone know how?

I've been playing this the last couple of weeks, although I've only clocked up about 6 hours playtime on the PC due to time constraints, and an array of bugs...

I seem to sporadically crash when entering a new area sometimes, but if I go a different way, or reload, do some other stuff, then try, it works fine and I have no idea why and I'm sort of far enough in, that I don't want to try reinstalling it all and starting again, although I could probably keep the Save Game, but it might be corrupted.

I've also now managed to lose my horse. I came down and killed some people as part of my mission and left my horse outside the town. It said it was stabled at the gate, but the only horse at the gate had a red icon "indicating I'd steal it" but no guards chased after me when I rode it. Rode to a cave, went into the cave, came out and my horse was nowhere to be seen so now I need a new horse.

My general opinion, is that it's good, but nothing great. It looks all well and good, but well, plays out like any other RPG. I guess I just haven't emersed myself into it enough yet but my issues with bugs put me off it :/

I had that occasionally...and some really weird popup. Downloaded the new patch, mate? That should solve the crashiness.

soory, can't explain the bugs you guys are havung but what can be explained is the severe lack of mod work getting done, as well as a vidoegame addiction coming back stronger than ever - OBLIVION! i bought this game a little over a week ago and played the hell out of it, mostly stealing stuff and selling it, although i have begun to continue the main quest, and i would have to say that it is amazing. my only gripes are that the short blade and long balde skills have been combined, i think that they should be seperate because they are very different weapons to use, as well as the whole "honest merchant" thing - how in hell are they going to know that you stole something and are now trying to sell it to them? other than that, though, it's a great game and i have to congratulate the Bethesda team for putting out yet another great RPG.
