As I'm adding the new upgrades to the game, it will mean the build menu will get quite cluttered. I'm asking you now what way I should sort out the interface. Please choose one of the above options or suggest your own idea. 3 is a bit more of an extreme option, sort of returning the build menu to TS's one, when all of the buildings / defenses / superweapons were in one category

EDIT: Added another question, should I make upgrades optional?
This would mean either
1. replacing the Superweapons toggle on the Skirmish / MP menu with an Upgrades toggle (this would make Superweapons constantly on)

2. having 2 different MP/Skirmish modes, one with upgrades, one without

3. not making them optional

In a way they are optional as you need an Upgrade Facility to build any of them, just wanting your views, that's all.

Upgrades should go with defences. They're supplementary things, like defences and supers are :D

If you don't go overboard with upgrades, you should be just fine. However, make it so the other factions cannot gain the upgrades; eg Pillbox upgrades are for Allied hands only.
