Yeah but it seems that people who like U2 are... U2! Bad when they're the only ones who think their music still rocks, which it never has since there's far better choices like "The Scorpions" and "Bob Seger."

I honestly don't get what you mean there. Also, where did I state their music rocks , I just said I liked a few of their songs, I've not heard all so I cannot judge over that. You're acting like I'm insane, as I said before, whatever my opinion is, music taste is personal. Don't stereotype me.

Have you ever seen a U2 fan? I never have. I'm always seeing people who like newer bands or Iron Maiden, Rush or AC/DC. Never once seen a U2 fan ANYWHERE! I can understand that since they're mediocrity at best and we have better bands like The Scorpions.

I didn't say you said their music rocked, just that U2 are the only who believe that.

Regarding the fact they still make music, there's obviously some people who like their music.

I don't like some of the bands people mention here or in other threads, doesn't mean I'm going to be unkind to them about it, does it? Music taste is personal. I respect you like Iron Maiden even if I don't.

Gaia, IMO, you just feel to much we should all respect eachothers opinion.. basically that gets us no where. Sucks = I dont like it in my internet dictionary. Much better way to see things as opinion instead of protecting thousands of invisible people.. just my 2ct..

Also, the argument: "thousands of people like it so it must be good" is a bad argument IMO.. I mean, there are also people that listen to Schlager and I think you agree with me that that is horrible.. just to give an idea, numbers of listeners is not always equal to good. It just equals to getting airplay on the radio..
