Oh, and apparently, unless your graphics card supports Pixel Shader 2.0, it won't run. This is report going down the grapevine.

the beta lagged like hell on my relatively brand new pc, so they have to worked pretty hard on optimizing for that to work out again. alot of the building times in it are long enough if the game has to run at 1/2 normal time too.

Here are the specs (from wikipedia):
Check this site to see if your video card has the right shader versions. (There are different pages for Ati/nVidea/Matrox/etc)Minimum
* Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2, Windows Vista
* 1.8 GHz processor
* 512 MB RAM
* 8GB available hard drive space
* 128MB video RAM or greater, with DirectX 9 Vertex Shader/Pixel Shader 2.0 support
* Sound card, speakers or headphones
* 56.6 Kbps Internet connection required
Recommended
* 3.0 GHz Intel or equivalent AMD processor or better
* 1-2GB RAM or better
* 8GB available hard drive space
* 256 MB Video RAM, with DirectX 9 Vertex Shader/Pixel Shader 2.0 support (Nvidia 6800 or better)
* Internet connection with Cable/DSL speeds [1]
Supreme Commander is designed to take advantage of the special features in Windows Vista and DirectX 10. All capabilities of the game, including the dual-monitor support, are still supported in the DirectX 9 version, although the DirectX 10 version might have improved graphical features.[2]

Since when has SupCom anything to do with RPG? You sure you got the right game?SupCom will be an awesome addition to the selection of RPG games, although it's just a bit demanding on the videocard for now.
ARGUMENT FROM CREATION, a.k.a. ARGUMENT FROM PERSONAL INCREDULITY (I)
(1) If evolution is false, then creationism is true, and therefore God exists.
(2) Evolution can't be true, since I lack the mental capacity to understand it; moreover, to accept its truth would cause me to be uncomfortable.
(3) Therefore, God exists.

Here are the specs (from wikipedia):
Minimum
* Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2, Windows Vista-My computer is very new, should have that. XP, not Vista
* 1.8 GHz processor-About 2 and a half times that amount.
* 512 MB RAM-Twice that
* 8GB available hard drive space-HELL YEAH! I got 228 GB total to play with.
* 128MB video RAM or greater, with DirectX 9 Vertex Shader/Pixel Shader 2.0 support-I could do beta replays, should have that.
* Sound card, speakers or headphones-Who doesn't have this?
* 56.6 Kbps Internet connection required-Irrelevant. My computer has no internet connection to begin wtih
Looks like I'm way more than covered. BTW, I'm fairly sure that replays would require the computer to be able to run the underlying engine. Can anyone confirm that?

Tbh I'm not very impressed yet by the SupCom demo, which after 15 mins of playing thought it would be interesting to reboot my computer without warning after I accidentally pressed the score button.
