got my hands on total annihilation for some nostalgic playing. i can see that they are playing on the same style of gameplay. big maps and big vehicles. although they have gone further up now with the STRATEGIC strategy instead of the ones we got which are more tactical...

its kinda fun to look back at tiberian dawn and see how small the maps in that game where and how little resources you really had. compare it to the games these days where you get tons of stuff to protect grand continents. total commander seems to be going another step up that path.

the next step has to be something akin to Empire at war, only even more advanced on ground and in space...

Background process. Has something to do with some activity going on somewhere. Sorting junkmail, I think. No value or interest. Doesn't do much except hog resource.

TA is the best strategy game ever hands down. Even now it is more sophisticated and beautiful to watch in operation than many modern games.

Where red alert had soldiers taller than tanks, TA has a realistic physics engine, planes that rolled to avoid missiles and true 3d graphics.

SupCom will wash away the competition :shiftee:

It works on XP without a hitch. I know, I have it.

ARGUMENT FROM CREATION, a.k.a. ARGUMENT FROM PERSONAL INCREDULITY (I)
(1) If evolution is false, then creationism is true, and therefore God exists.
(2) Evolution can't be true, since I lack the mental capacity to understand it; moreover, to accept its truth would cause me to be uncomfortable.
(3) Therefore, God exists.

lol... a bit reserved...

looks like a very interesting game I would phrase it somewhat more like ZOMFG PWN T|-|13z G4em w1ll r00l orl!!11!!!11!!!!

It will be leagues better than most other games around though, it'll probably be the first game where you will really feel like you're at the helm of an epic war machine.

From what we have seen of the armies, I wonder what people's choice of allegiance will be?

On grounds of their name, those fuck-awesome subs and that humongous dreadnought tank that comes out of the sea, I think I'll be the UEF :p

But I am quite struck on those Cybran boats that come out of the water and start walking along the beachhead...and of course that Centurion Siege Crawler-type thingy.

Either way. This game will be godly...I just watched the video for like the sixth time and I'm STILL salivating at it.

We should make an RPG based off of it. :p
