damn straight.

[Moody string introduction]
"What began as a conflict over the transfer of consciousness from flesh to machines escalated into a war which has decimated a million worlds.
The Core and the Arm have all but exhausted the resources of the galaxy in their struggle for domination. Both sides now crippled beyond repair, the remnants of their armies continue to battle on ravaged planets, their hatred fueled by over four-thousand years of total war. This is a fight to the death: for each side, the only acceptable outcome is the complete elimination of the other."
[Strings pick up]

Does anyone know the specs(PC requirements) of this game yet?

I am thinking it won't be that very high probably 2.0 ghz PC 64mb GFX card 256-350mb mem ram. But I am not that really sure but if anyone knows post it, so I can upgrade my PC before it hits stores. Oh one more thing CAN'T WAIT  .

I doubt you can play it well with a 64 MB card. You can't play Generals on that properly. 256 MB RAM would also be kinda low. It'd take ages to start up.

Sorry that I confused you Gaia but I was talking about the game requirments. My PC is faster then that 2.2 AMD Athlon, 512mb GFX card, 1.5gig mem ram.

Yours will run it fine. I might need a better GFX card, but I expect I'm waiting until xmas for that now. I might also snaffle a RAM upgrade to 2gig then too, for shits and giggles.

Samuel, you asked for what you thought would be the (minimum) system requirements, so I just gave my input there.

I think my pc should run it fine for the most of it.

Are there any plans for a demo coming out?

Background process. Has something to do with some activity going on somewhere. Sorting junkmail, I think. No value or interest. Doesn't do much except hog resource.

Nothing official yet, AFAIK. I imagine it will be in the new year. Before then, we have Meddy 2 and Dark Crusade to tick us over...but when SC comes out, it will put them so far in the shade, the poor things will start to get hypothermia.

It's not like it's gonna be out before spring 2007 anyways. Plenty of time to play the new things.

ARGUMENT FROM CREATION, a.k.a. ARGUMENT FROM PERSONAL INCREDULITY (I)
(1) If evolution is false, then creationism is true, and therefore God exists.
(2) Evolution can't be true, since I lack the mental capacity to understand it; moreover, to accept its truth would cause me to be uncomfortable.
(3) Therefore, God exists.

That's true. But you don't know how I randomly switch from one game to another.

Believe it or not, I'm actually bored of Oblivion at the moment... :p

I'm actually afraid of buying Oblivion because of the way that Morrowind consumed my life like Cthulu consumes the souls of mortal man... they were dark times... DARK TIMES! Weeks of my life... lost... oh the horrors!

If I bought it I would fail my degree, and go back home to disappointed parents who will shun me for becoming a hopeless wretch of a human. I will have vast debts and no will to earn money to pay them. I will spend morning noon and night playing Oblivion, I would begin to loose weight, the muscles in my legs would degenerate through lack of use and I would develop sores from sitting down all day. Gradually I would develop an aversion to sunlight, becoming a repulsive being of the dark. My hollow, vacant eyes would develop ever stronger myopia, my skin would become paler and my complexion ever more pallid.

My life would take a turn for the worse when, disgusted by both my appearance and apparent lack of achievement (ignoring a full suit of daedric armour and level 100 skills in every weapon class) my parents throw me out of the house, sell up, and move to Cyprus. Then, I will be left with no power supply for my computer, no home and no money.

I would almost immediately unhinge and become totally insane. Trapped in an imagined world where I am some kind of fell beast. I would start murdering people down alleyways to acquire their money and clothing. I would feast on their flesh like some ravenous wild beast at night and hide in the crumbling ruins of abandoned buildings during the day. Eventually I would be caught by the authorities, a shattered husk of a man, blood-stained fingers and a terrible legacy of murder and cannibalism. I would be executed as an unholy monstrosity, and my corpse flung to the vultures.

All because I bought Oblivion.

Do not tempt me! Or i'll eat you first!

There is such a thing as control yourself? I mean, while the game is good, it doesn't mean you should play it 24/7.

I'm looking forward to Supreme Commander, if the demo is good I'll buy it. If there's no demo I may buy it as well.
