So, the question is: what vehicle should we use as a mortar carrier?
We have already two stryker vehicles, so it will not be too hard to create Stryker MCV, personally i would like this version most. We will also have HMMWV vehicle, so we could use it as a mortar carrier as well. What do you think is better? What would more precise reflect actual situation in US army?

I've only seen the M1129 Stryker Mortar Carrier. I'm not sure of a mortar carrier for the humvee or APC though...

Here you go, M113MCV on the same website :p :

HMMWV MCV actually seems to be something obscure, so we better ignore this possibility :) :

But with the M113, you're gonna have to model it with infantry anims loading and firing the mortar :)

It would look weird if no one is manning it.

I'd prefer the High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle personally.

And we do not have a real 2d artist to add gloss to our renders and screens. But could we at least appear at moddb?

Yeah, a moddb profile would suffice.

I vote for the Stryker MCV. The Stryker is looking to be the future of the Army's light force and that's what your early game units are. Plus it further exhibits the amazing variety of roles this thing can fulfill.

I've voted for the Stryker, it will most likley replace the M113 motar carrier, and in the military organisation struckture you'll find at Battlion size units, which have their own motar section!
And by the way there aren't any motars mounted on the Humvee, atleast I haven't seen, and I'm not sure if it would be so good to fire a heavy 120mm motar on it!
And to be accurate to todays motar carriers, you would have to make the roof open and put infantry in it!
