I think this is a place for suggestions for the mod, not yourself. Lol. Then again, it is decreed somewhere that all topics should stray off-topic.

Its easier than it looks at first. Then it gets harder then it looks later. I can't really explain it but thats the way my experience has been. Im guess the team is using 3Dmax or something like that....im just using milkshake. As far as i noe, no tool is free. best thing you'll get is a trial version. Tutorials, there are plenty all over the net too. I started out from http://www.scifi-art.com/, but that was more for renders.

Well if memory serves 3dsmax with a student discount is like $350, in that area. The comercial license is like $1500.

Ive seen it go for $700 for a student version. You might find it for as low as $1500 from a reseller of used copies but the retail newest version sells for $3500.

These were a couple of missions I was thinking we could do right off the bat that would be cool.

Zaft
-Gundam Jack (go to heliopolis and get the gundams)
-Panama(capture 3 or so points around the map then deploy gungnirs)

EAF
-Endemyon Crator(hold of zaft)
-Attack on orb (capture orungoro island)

I beleive i mentioned in the alpha topic, endymion would be a good one to start with. you wont even have to add anything (i think). As for heros, there are only two, Cruset and Flaga, both already have their unit type availible in the alpha, HM ginn and mobieus zero.

Also, i remember from my own fiddling that the character holos that sometimes appear, like the stormtrooper at the beginning of the mission, or rebel soldier, monmothma etc, are video files synched with voice sets. I dunno how to do this, but i noe at least zerox has in his mod, so what if for these particular missions you could insert a face, even a static one, of a character, and run his voicetrack from the show alongside it? it would connect it better to the show that way.

I was wondering if you guys would be able to post in the forums like every 2 weeks or once a month and inform us on progress made, so we can have a sort of picture of how the creation of the mod is going?

Hmm Requim will be scary. I have some ideas though.

space station addon include the Requim turning stations. also it has the potential to destroy all space units and land bases. it wont destroy planets entirely since only Earth is there. should only be allowed to fire once a week or something, should also cost alot of money to build a turning station.

Duno if this matters anymore but Gmax is a free tool that is just a baby brother of 3dsmax. Autodesk stopped supplying it but you can find a dl if you google for it. If you have seen this guy
