I just started modding and I want to do a new version of Legolas, im making a new Elven Hero. I was wondering if you have have to edit the models for every with Legolas' name in it or just the main model. Also if you have them can you give me the names of some good infantry models because i dont know where they are in the .Big editor

You only have to edit the _skn file, all the rest are either skeletons or anims
Playing games? Ah, you'll never be a good modder if you get involved in actually playing them!
