I just want to know i am new to it. For the atheists who say what does religion gives us accept for the crusades. The crusades were not started because of religon thats a bunch of crap. The western europeans wanted more land. Thats the true reason to the war. They would seem to be the nice guys because thier doing it for religon when they really did it for greed. They wanted more land so they could get more money. Plus thier was no room in western europe.
To all the people who dont have kids because of society F*CK You!

1st amendment- Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

I'd have thought that was a very atheist point of view, as it denies the presence of god, to be commanding his followers.

I'm an atheist not only because I believe religion is the source of all evil in the world, but because I believe it is physically impossible for there to be any supreme being.

I'm atheist for a lot of reasons, but I think one of the big ones is that from an outsider's perspective, pretty much every religion (including the one I was raised in) can seem absolutely ridiculous at times.

I nobody takes offense to that statement - it's just my opinion, and I can agree to disagree.

I am agnostic, as I think that there may be a higher power watching over us, not that we were created by it, or that our every move is guided by it, but that something more powerful than us is watching.

OLD SIG
When history witnesses a great change Razgriz reveals itself,
first as a dark demon. As a demon it uses it power to rain death upon the land,
and then it dies. However after a period of slumber Razgriz returns
As the demon sleeps, man turns on man.
Its own blood, and madness soon cover the earth.
From the depths of despair awaken the Razgriz.
Its raven wings ablaze in majestic light.
Amidst the eternal waves of time
From a ripple of change shall the storm rise
Out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon
Behold the Razgriz, its wings of black sheath
The demon soars through the dark skies
Fear and Death trail its shadow beneath
Until Men united wield a hallowed sabre
In Final Reckoning, the beast is slain.

Well, there's one standing over my shoulder right now, figuring out WTF Revora is all about. He's planning on giving money, too, so don't discredit. :p The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence.

More powerful? Maybe. Pure Energy Beings? Not ruled out.

God that ommands us all, has angels, and really hates a guy who owns a dark and firey place underground? Hogwash, IMO.

I'm an athiest because:

1. No evidence of god.Or Buddha. Or anything else like that.

2. Plenty of evidence in science. (But I think the Big Bang is bullcrap.)

3. If God really loved us, would we need to worship Him? This makes me think he's power0hungry, meaning He is not perfect, meaning he must not be omnipowerful and omnipotent.

4. If God really loved us, would He send us to Hell? He's omniBENEVOLENT, after all. He forgives everything, supposedly.

5. If He really existed, why would the KKK/Taliban/other idiots exist?

6. If He exists, why are there other religions?

I don't know... Not being able to shake their hand would be a turndown, much less being able to speak their language.

Christian. Nothing more, nothing less.

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Andre 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

I've always thought that to be an atheist needs the sort of certainty that I, and i don't believe anyone else, do not have. So I remain agnostic.

atheist is kinda a bit in the same boat as the religious person. they usually have a strong faith in something. i like the term agnostic as its a bit more prudent than saying "I am right and you are wrong".

I am also agnostic. Even if there is a higher power, I don't think we have to worship it, and I don't think it has ANY control over our lives or our fate...... I am a devout worshiper of science
