Dinasours didn't die out millions of years ago.

Our tests for soil ages don't work, because we have no way of knowing how much time anythingg represents without observing how much it changes in that amount of time.

I'm sure MSpencer would agree with me saying this.

Some fucking sources would be a good starter...

In answer to this topic's question: This is mostly an athiest message board.
Into the fires of Orodruin,
The One must be cast
This is the price that must be paid,
Only thus its power will be undone
Only thus, a great evil, unmade

There is no other choice.
There is no other way.
One of you must take it,
One of you must pay.

Mi naurath Orodruin

Han i vengad i moe ben bango
Sin eriol natha tur in ugarnen
Sin eriol um beleg ugannen

U cilith 'war.
U men 'war.
Boe min mebi,
Boe min bango.

Heh you could be right but you have no proof, your making assumptions to again prove your point.

Id say this board is more agnostic, its a more philosophic board, deep thought and open mindedness rather than purely around religion.

Carbon dating has proven tat we can estimate the age of a previously living object to a near exact point in time. WE KNOIW HOW TO AGE STUFF.

Why are we having a religous debate online?

Why are we having a religous debate online?

Because the Internet is a global arena for the exchange and debate of ideas between mentally healty and sane individuals.

Indeed i did say that, whats the misunderstanding? So you got backed into a corner because you could not construct an argument for you views, don't lash out. Just argue your point and people will argue back.

I did not start it, Hybrid. I was leaving it alone when some more arguments suddenly appeared and I attempted to answer them.

No you initated a debate by responding therefore are just as responsible as everyone else. Why are you getting so aggressive? Its just a forum for discussion, please continue your argument because it was interesting to respond too.

Says you.

And me, and all of the people that you are arguing with right now. Yes, there are some atheists here, and there are some devout followers, but the entire influence of religion equals to somewhere around being agnostic.

OLD SIG
When history witnesses a great change Razgriz reveals itself,
first as a dark demon. As a demon it uses it power to rain death upon the land,
and then it dies. However after a period of slumber Razgriz returns
As the demon sleeps, man turns on man.
Its own blood, and madness soon cover the earth.
From the depths of despair awaken the Razgriz.
Its raven wings ablaze in majestic light.
Amidst the eternal waves of time
From a ripple of change shall the storm rise
Out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon
Behold the Razgriz, its wings of black sheath
The demon soars through the dark skies
Fear and Death trail its shadow beneath
Until Men united wield a hallowed sabre
In Final Reckoning, the beast is slain.

How about this: I have my view, which doesn't agree with yours. You have your veiw, which doesn't agree with mine. Neither of us is about to be converted. So we should just stop; neither of us can really prove a point one way or the other really.

Anyways I'd just like to add:

How can soil tests be wrong? I read somewhere about a carbon radiation dissipation test (or whatever it's called, can't be arsed to look for a translation), anyways some carbon isotope dissipates into halves every so often (which is a rather constant amount of time), so that's by far a accurate measure. All you chemists correct me if I'm wrong here somewhere.

@ Tom: no.

ARGUMENT FROM CREATION, a.k.a. ARGUMENT FROM PERSONAL INCREDULITY (I)
(1) If evolution is false, then creationism is true, and therefore God exists.
(2) Evolution can't be true, since I lack the mental capacity to understand it; moreover, to accept its truth would cause me to be uncomfortable.
(3) Therefore, God exists.
