hmm I would have to look into that, I dont think it is possible to make any unit travl under the made terrain. The biggest problem is that locomotors are one way as in you do a upgrade that changes the locomotor say make it go underground cant be removed to it will be stuck there. The formost thing is that I have not found anyway to make a unit go under the terrain anyway.....

nlln why dont u use the rules off the old c&c tibrian sun for the units u could just take the nod apc off the game or the flame tank cos they both go under ground nlln

omfg dude I am trying not to get mad but dont you even notice that Tiberian Sun and Generals are WAY different games and run on two totaly different game engines, Generals just doesnt support it due to the 3D nature of the game environment.......

There is someone out there that has made a unit be able to go underground. I think it just involves it going invisible then having animation. I may be wrong, you will have to try and find him to see what he did. Dont remember his name.

there is NO way a unit can go under the "ground" it would have to have been done thru a script that makes the unit "dissipear" with a dirt anim like thing as someone suggested in here so that is only way I can think of (also they could of made the model invisible so you can still see it's health and stuff (the enemy) but it would seem to not be there, under ground

But it also has to be untargetable so that nothing can shoot at it while it is "underground." Youll have to find the guy that made it work and see if he can help you.

I dont like the idea of the subterrainium units as they would make the game too unfair due to not being able to target them and then if you did find out how how t do it your'd need loads of new animations. Best left out

right on I dont like the idea either it is unrealistic and is not really viable, even though GLA has tunnles they really dont posses the tech to make a whole vehicle subterrainian
