"Jesus Christ..." he muttered to himself "I'd rather take my chances outside than stay in here..."
Unfortunately, the option was not open to him as he had barred the door behind him being the last in.
"Bollocks." he exclaimed quietly. The situation was rapidly going from bad to worse...

The pain was gone. He opened his eyes, and saw nothing but a blank white canvas. Niall realized he must have passed out from the pain, and was now dreaming. All around him, everything was white. He stood up, and found that he had the strength to walk. Of course he could, it was a dream. Having nothing better to do, he started to walk. He had been walking for what seemed like hours, when he finally saw something far off in the distance. It was a black armchair, contrasting starkly against the whiteness. He started running toward it, and at first it seemed to get closer. He was almost to it, but then it seemed to slowly go farther away from him until it was once again only a small object. He gave up and tried to sit on the ground. He passed through the ground when he did this though, and ended up on the chair.
At first Niall was shocked and somewhat frightened, when he remembered it was a dream. This was a relatively normal one compared to some others he'd had. He got comfortable in the chair, but stayed alert. He didn't know what would come next. His alertness didn't help him from being surprised, though, when the chair shot up at a very high speed, only to stop a short moment later. He supposed he was now a hundred feet up in the air, though the only real indication that he was even in the air was the fact that his feet weren't touching the ground anymore. As he was pondering his height, the white world was changing. It was rapidly being drawn in by some invisible force.
Ten seconds later, Niall viewed with awe the view. He was on top of the highest building in the city he was now in, but it was before the outbreak. He got up from the chair and walked to the edge and looked down. He could see the bustling city. The world seemed to be full of life. Just as rapidly, though, another change was occuring.
The world he was looking at was slowly dying. He watched in silence as people became what he now fought, what caused him the injury to his arm. He understood that they were mindless and couldn't control themselves, but he still felt a blind hatred toward them. They took his arm, goddamnit! He would kill them all, fuck any cure that was made. They took his arm! He looked away, back toward the chair, and saw it was slowly becoming red, as if it were bleeding. Then he saw Harvey, coming at him with a knife. He looked down at his right arm, and saw it was rotting off. He tried to scream, but again nothing came out.
Blackness.
((OOC: I don't know if that was really necessary, but I was bored))

Regina rushed into the room where Niall was being 'operated' on. Blood spewed everywhere. This was ridiculous, and was hardly the time or place for this. Even if Niall's wound wasn't infected by whatever was infecting the rest of the townsfolk, gangrene was probably just as bad a death. He was similarly no good to anyone if he bled to death. Cutting an arm cut off a major artery and vein. NOT particularly smart, given the circumstances.
"Are you insane?" Regina shrieked as she ran over, already reaching for a carabiner clip from her belt-kit. Usually used for rappelling down from helicopters or buildings, Regina didn't relish the idea of using an unsterilised corrosible item as an artery clamp, but infection was possibly treatable. Blood being outside its normal owner's body wasn't. She moved to push Harvey out of the way.
"Do tell me you've got a way to stem that bleeding so I don't have to use this."

((OOC: Yes, i do have an IC way for having this knowledege, and i don't care if virus's don't work like that, it's something that i thought of for explaining the differenes in zombies to start off with,
"Hey, bitch!"shouted Harvey, "I had to cut him at the shoulder!I know he was bitten lower, but it was one of the fast ones! They have more virus in their blood-stream, and so it spread's faster, you think i would have done that if there wasn't a reason!" Harvey calmed down a bit, his rage now just anger, "And yes i do have a way, it's called bandages, there in the first aid kit over there." said Harvey flickering his eyes over to the corner wall.

"Holy crap!" Thomas said, finally, completely white as the reality of the situation dawned on him.
"Wha.. wha... whab... whaaaa..." He tried to speak but words just came out incoherently.
"Uhm... uhm... tie off his arm... with something, anything fast!" he said, quickly moving into action. "We might be able to cauterize the wound or flash freeze it if we have to. Do you have any... propane, butane, nitrogen? Anything flammable or extremely cold, and I need it quickly."
(OOC: I'm a babbling moron. I've been quite busy for a few days, I've only been able to make CCW posts at about 4 in the morning while doing homework. Sorry, just haven't had time recently, should clear up soon I think)

Nevertheless, she took a whole wad of sterile gauze and rolled it up into a cylinder.
"I won't lie to you, this is going to hurt like hell, Niall."
She began to pack it into the severed artery. If she could block this up to the branching point in the shoulder she could stop a blood traffic-jam that would swell like a water balloon and cause further problems.
"If there's a hemostat in that pack, it'll be helpful."

She dismissed that glimmer of suspicion for the moment. She would bring it up later, but right now the most pressing matter was a screaming man who'd just had his arm lopped off, and was now sitting in a pool of his own blood, staving off death by a narrow margin and a stumpfull of sterile packing gauze.
"He seems a little shaky at the moment, and special forces are given basic medical training," she turned to Thomas. "You think you can manage, or should I do it?"

"Oh god...why did this happen...I mean..." Bern started running once more, coming up for the Police Station. The zombies continued to dive at him, until one managed to grab his workmate. Bernado thought for a second. Why was he carrying this chinese woman. For all he knew, she was dead. Deciding to let the zombie have her, Bern kept running towards the Police Station.
"Help me..somebody..PLEASE!"

"You're lucky I heard someone say 'cauterize'," said Titus, with a serious look on his face.
"Now, this is gonna hurt like hell, so think happy thoughts..."
(OOC: And Titus pops out of nowhere, with the save! Sorry. Megatokyo binging. )
OLD SIG
When history witnesses a great change Razgriz reveals itself,
first as a dark demon. As a demon it uses it power to rain death upon the land,
and then it dies. However after a period of slumber Razgriz returns
As the demon sleeps, man turns on man.
Its own blood, and madness soon cover the earth.
From the depths of despair awaken the Razgriz.
Its raven wings ablaze in majestic light.
Amidst the eternal waves of time
From a ripple of change shall the storm rise
Out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon
Behold the Razgriz, its wings of black sheath
The demon soars through the dark skies
Fear and Death trail its shadow beneath
Until Men united wield a hallowed sabre
In Final Reckoning, the beast is slain.

Rather callously, she checked the ammo counts on her MP5Ks, and hoped they'd come across a stash of 9mm ammo soon so she could refill her empty mags.

He levelled his gun at the thing on top of Harvey, but he couldnt shoot for fear of hitting him. He had a feeling this was one of those Regina-moments when she would step in and do something* to save the day, so he left her to it. Instead he satisfied himself with shooting another one trying to get in with its friend.
*(OOC: But he decided not to gm her into doing so. )
