it works fine for trans to mounted. cause the model uses cavalry skeleton here. but dismounting ( unit use only hero without horse skeleton ) is the problem but kwen probably point out the way around.

now I do not believe that it is possible to solve the horse coming from nowhere, unless the mount could only be achieved at the stables. but the dismounting could be triggered by the mount toggle upgrade, the upgrade that is activated would set off the dismout animation, its the same logic as with any hero power with a special animation.

Behavior = SpecialPowerModule ModuleTag_AragornAthelas
		SpecialPowerTemplate	= SpecialAbilityAragornAthelas
		UpdateModuleStartsAttack  = Yes
		TriggerFX				= FX_AragornAthelas
		SetModelCondition		= ModelConditionState:USER_2
		SetModelConditionTime	= 2.1
	End

	Behavior = SpecialAbilityUpdate ModuleTag_AragornAthelasUpdate
		SpecialPowerTemplate	= SpecialAbilityAragornAthelas
		StartAbilityRange	   = 1.6
		UnpackTime = 1	; Nothing to touching it
		PreparationTime = 3	; touching it to grabbing it
		PackTime = 2096 ; whacking it to holding it nice
		AwardXPForTriggering	= 0
	End

This is the athelas code, using this as the base you could set the dismount anim as USER_2 right. Then have it triggered by the SpecialAbilityToggleMounted

it would end up like this :

 	Behavior = SpecialPowerModule ModuleTag_HorseToggleStarter
 		SpecialPowerTemplate	  = SpecialAbilityToggleMounted
 		UpdateModuleStartsAttack  = Yes
			SetModelCondition		= ModelConditionState:USER_2
		SetModelConditionTime	= 2.1
 	;InitiateSound		   =
 		StartsPaused = Yes
 	End

		AnimationState				= USER_2
			StateName				= DISMOUNT
			Animation = DMNT (or whatever its called)
				AnimationName		= RUHHs_Theo_SKL.RUHHs_Theo_DMNT
				AnimationMode		= ONCE
			End
		End

The only dis-advantage to this would be that the dismount anim would probably be played mounting aswell. I don't know a way around this except to have seperate powers for on and off.

Now seeing as I do not have this animation I can't prove this theory cortrect, I have not had a way of testing it.

I think he should crouch a little more at first, but otherwise you got that move perfectly :p

Very... lifelike. Good work.

Hmm... I've seen episode one, and the Jedi in it dont seem to crouch like that, they just ''fly''. (Force I guess, dont know... :p)

just try if i can make really detailed weapon model. i hope it doesnt look too bad. model itself is absolutly from scratch.

I haven't read this whole thread, but I had to say: excellent model! Do you mind if I try to reproduce the model based on that render, possibly for S.E.E.?

I noticed the texture is missing the elven runes on the blade that distinguish Anduril from the original Narsil. Here is a picture you could simply scale down to 1024 wide and use a planar mapping to get a very accurate sword. BIG pic of Anduril.

[Edit] Here, I scaled it for you.
