Hi folks.I have gone through several mod ideas in the past few months, and i ended up going with my Battle for Ashalimore idea.Ive started a new forum thread to avoid confusion, some people still think its a zelda based mod,but its not.Anyway, this is the new thread,so post all comments/ideas here.

ALPHA TEST UPDATE:I have decided to push back the deadline for alpha test applications because i dont think everyone who wants to apply will get it in by the deadline,so ill be accepting apps. until the end of October,so you have plenty of time to get your application in.

CONTEST UPDATE:The story contest is still going on,so if you want to contribute to the mod without actual modding, you can submit one of the remaining stories. Please send one in if you have an idea, because im really busy right now,and people want a story that i dont have time to write. If no one writes one,ill just put them out at my own pace.

LaurEDIT: added the "mod noter"

Thats cool... BTW I could make a opening video.... I mean edit it if you want

BTW to that homeskool argument

You can always push back work that is boring and do it at your own pace... THat is what I do occasionally

Sometimes I get so caught up in modding even through the weekends and I have other activites (Sports, Religious) That take up half the day so I push my homeschooling to weekend nights and stuff...

THat way I am not behind
@ Modertors plz dont dfelte this maybe move it after enough attention is reveived

That won't be necessary, as long as any further comments on it are posted in the offtopic forum.

For those who don't know the old topic, here is a link.

If you want to know more about this mod, it's contest or the alpha test, visit the site.

The site indeed looks alot better now. I just noticed you actually have a team:P Are you going to make an affiliate button? so that people can affilate to your site... Also you should to set up some official forums.
Good luck with the mod :D

It is possible for someone to participate in his Alpha test, without being registered at this forum. However, I doubt your chances of being selected as alpha tester have been increased with the shouting (caps and !).

HI FOLKS! Im back. I dont have any new updates, but I have finished my paper and i will try to go into overdrive to make up for lost time, but i cant guarantee anything will get done error-free,so i may take a while to put out new updates. As for the whole thing about people applying for the alpha test without a member name, just make one up so you can be included in the list when i credit you in the final release of the mod.just email me your application and ill consider you for a tester. no "special treatment" will be given if you are a member of the community or not, just make up a name for yourself, unless you want to go by whatever your email is. also, there has only been 1 application sent to me for the test,so im going to probably extend the deadline unless a flood of applications comes in within the next 2 weeks,so you still have time to apply.thats all for now.ill post an update probably by either monday or maybe wensday, depending on how much i get done.

EDIT:Just to make it clear,if you are a member of the TBFA MOD TEAM,you don't need to apply for the Alpha test, you are automatically allowed to participate if you would like to.

URGENT UPDATE:It has come to my attention that I still dont have a skinner,so i am asking that anyone who is able to do any skinning, even if you are a noob skinner, i would appreciate it if you could join the mod team.i have some new models that are coming in soon, and i would like to be able to have them skinned and have them shown on the site.also,if they arent skinned,i wont be able to show you any in-game screenshots,so if you do want some screenshots soon,i suggest you offer help.sorry if i sound desperate, but i kinda am,cause i suck at skinning,it never comes out right....

A model does not have to be skinned to be placed ingame.

i know that they can be in-game without skins, but i would rather have the completed models in the screenshots instead of just putting in a simple "outlined" unit.....if i cant find a skinner soon, ill just put the unskinned models in and wait until i can find someone good to skin.i just think it would be better to be able to show the unit as it will appear completed instead of just showing a blank model.

The attack of the blank models :p Anyway you could just learn skinning.
