actually no, the translation from all the ones I've seen is actually a direct translation of the term Coordinator.

Kinda weird because it's like 'one who points out direction' or something. lol

Seems like ive been missing lots of shit avoiding this topic. I generally hate destiny fix up threads hahas.

Some things, yes, coordinators are not instant geniuses. However, alot of them are geniuses, or else at the very least they learn faster and more than naturals. This is because since creating a coordinator is not an exact science, simply giving genes assumed to provide genius intellect is still hit-and-miss. Thats why they wanted to grow ultimate coordinators in artificial wombs.
So, coordinators have a higher learning rate, and a higher proportion of people with high intellect.

I think what would make the most sense is that the Eaf and Morgenrote had a joint project. eventually, Morgenrote is meant to build the first 5 MS, of which the battle data would be used to complete calamity raider and forbidden. Those three may have only had their chassis designed by then or something. It doesnt explain why Morgenrote then only had partial information to buld the astrays...but the manga and anime dont see eye to eye sometimes i guess. This is purely conjecture tho.

well they had partial data because they cant just go outright and take the entire date from the project to make their own stuff. Also they had pretty much all the data, but just didnt use some of the available tech.

Newtypes are normal humans who have a telepathic spaceial awareness. Mu and his father had the newtype gene hence Mu, Rau, Rey, and Prayer all have it.

weird that there were only technically 2 newtypes in the entire series, but it's weird that they don't sense anyone else but eachother.

Prayer Reverie was one of the clones of Al De Flagga and was the pilot of the YMF-X000A Dreadnought Gundam. He was in the Gundam Seed X Astray manga Series and part of the Destiny Astray manga series i think.

Oh really? The first time kira shot at cruset with meteor, cruset was warned beforehand by the infamous newtype flash. Kira isnt related to the flaga family as far as we know so...

Also in destiny Kira exhibited the flash when he used dragoons. Of course this assumes he really is a newtype, since he didnt have flashes in the first series as far as i can recall.

As for prayer...he's had telepathic connection with all sorts of ppl, like morgan cheveliar and canard pars. Eh...since morgan is probably a newtype to some extent and it seems to have to do with the ability to use dragoons, the telepathey is probably between newtypes. No real evidence of canard being a newtype, but he Is a failed ultimate coordinator. Although its not canon, in my game sd g generation psp version, the only one he appears in, he seems to be considered as a newtype.

All the ultimate coordinator is, is a coordinator "designed" with extra-spaceial awareness ie an artifical newtype. Which explains why Kira can sense Rau, Rey, and why Prayer can sense Canard.

ok that makes a bit more sense, because in the series they never promoted the newtypes too much, which is kinda sad because there were that many implications about them.

Kurt Angle could easily german suplex it and then pick it up and nail it with the Angle Slam, easily destroying most of the body, then put it in the ankle lock and make it completely explode with Angle being left without a scratch.

EDIT:o and i know how to fix GSD completely, jus go bak to the past, and do watever u can to stop bandai from making GSD. cuz a lot of GS things screwed up by GSD
