well i say the skins are great except too bright uruk armor is dark and put the white hand on the helmets would make it look like uruks.

After seeing the Uruk Hai Model in game from the site, i kinda agree i like them better.

I've made a change to some of the spell lists for Goblins,Dol Guldor,Isengard and Morgul they get a new called "More Orcs" this spell heals all infantry and cavalry on the map by 10% and replenishes hordes.
This is spell will cost 6 power points and for the Goblin and Isengard factions replace the Fire Ring spell.

I'm also adding a new spell for Mardil called Rain of Arrows that fires a volley of arrows anywhere on the map (not quite working yet) this ability will be at level 10.He'll also be able to detect stealth units.

Elrond will also get some new abilities 3 leadership abilities.
The first will give nearby units 300% experience boost the 2nd will halve the recharge time of unit/hero abilities near him and the 3rd is a negative leadership will slow the ability recharge time of nearby enemies.
He'll also get 2 attack abilities the first is "Vilya Blast" which basically Wizard Blast the second is called "Brillant Light" this spell is like Istari Light it deals damage and stuns the enemy so they can't move and and they can't deal damage (and possibly stop them attacking all together).

Some of this new stuff hasn't been fully tested yet though.

Is the next beta closed or open? If its closes haha could you consider an extra beta tester? (Sorry for some wierd reason im obsessed with your mod)

Don't think that many Uruks had the white hand painted on their helms...if based on movies, only remember seeing Lurtz-and that was his face.

If i find time time I might add the white hand to some of their faces.

Ok time for this weeks update this week I have a couple more screenshots and a preview of one of the maps I made for Lone Wolf.
Misty Mountains this map is the map a lot of my recent screenshots are of.

It is a 2 player map one at the bottom of the map the other at the top.There is a snaking path that goes up the mountain with Goblin Lairs and watchtower plots along the way.There are a couple high cliffs from where units can set up an ambush the bottom of the mountain has reasonably thick forests to hide stealth units in and there are 2 Goblin settlements on the bottom and top sides of the map.These settlements have 3 or 4 Goblin Lairs and a Snow Troll Lair each.

I have made a couple more maps in the last week with screens coming in the coming week.
The first is the Trollshaws a very large map for 4 players with a lot of trees and a lot of places to hide units.
This map is infested with Trolls both Cave Trolls and Forest Trolls the Cave Trolls stay near their dens and the forest Trolls are spread out through the map.Each player starts off with an outpost there is a camp surrounded by hills that can be taken.

The second new map is the Midgewater Marshes another large map that has 4 players starting in camps.The map has quite a few choke points because of the water there is also adequate trees for stealth.I will likely make some neeker breekers and midges as well as some fog for this map to add to atmosphere but that will depend on my schedule.

well not necesary just on their helmets but They are on the armors. great progress so far Radspakr :p

Are you planning on removing the team colors. Thats one thing i thought was just butt ugly. But its up to you to change em. I mean since most of the new units wont have a color scheme why not remove the ones that do?

I will be removing the House colours a lot of the existing units have been or will be reskinned.The house colours do look ugly.
I should also note that at the moment for some units the Heavy Armour upgrade won't change the textures this is true for the Gondor units because they start off in their normal armour and their is no way to make it "heavier".
This is because I really dislike the Gold armour thing in BFME.But if it helps we could pretend that the Armour after the upgrade is better forged or thicker :)

Ok I have a bonus update for this week the first is another render of the Morgul Uruk Pike there a couple of new skins in there and a few changes.

and the second render is of the new Lorien Citadel for the Green Elves I just finished this one 2 minutes ago.This one took me hours to finish but i'm happy with the work I hope you enjoy.

And a note on the Morgul Uruks they are now the main infantry for Morgul the Morgul Orc Rabble have been removed there models and skins given to their Dol Guldor and Mordor counterparts.The Morgul Orc Archers are still there but they are now bigger and will have more health but will have a slightly slower firing rate.

Good work on the Lorien Citadel. Very nice. The Morgul Uruks look great too.
