i really need help here. every time i play skirmish, i end up playing for about 30 seconds and then it pauses for about 5 seconds. it continues to be in those intervals and im jus curious if theres a way i can fix this. rite now im running on low settings but i am usually on high, so any help would be greaqt thanx!!

That's because the AI is buggy (outdated). It's not a graphical problem at all, it's the computer armies giving the same orders several times a second to units or structures that can no longer carry them out due to major changes in the last release.
The best advice is: Don't play skirmish. Go online and play against humans, they're much better opponents.

The only problem with online play is that sometimes people (Like me) have dailup or thier opponent isn't the nicest of folks. Although I agree online is good when those two thing arn't involved.
