A patch is something thats sorts out problems and balancing stuff etc that EA released.

Start >> All Programs >> Electronic Arts >> BFME II >> Check for Updates

You need to be connected to the Internet, just let the program run.

I'm afraid that I still, no matter what, haven't been able to do it. The computer we've got is more of an office computer then gaming, so I figure that might have something to do with it.

I'd say you have a major problem with your computer in general...? Do ordinary programs work? Do other games work? Do Windows start up normally? Have you had any system crashes recently?

Perhaps you need or fresh system re-install or perhaps your PC doesn't even support games like this? Do you have the latest drivers for your graphics card, and all those matters...?

All I can say is that I know for sure that the mod works... :/
But if your original game wont work, the mod wont work either... :(

I agree, the mod's got to work. My comp's weird though, so I think that's got something to do with it.


I'm hoping to get a summer job, so I can buy one of those made for gaming computers, hook it up to the internet for a day, download the mod, and go on with life.

Perhaps you guys could use the Chat feature on the T3A website to try and get around this issue, it's a bit like MSN but with no emails. You can ask more questions and get answers instantly

But maybe if you could copy/paste all of it, it would be a good "tutorial" yes... for those with such humongous problems like him at least... lol

But then I wanna delete it from this thread! We can't have ONE guy's problem take up like 48 pages of one thread. Noone will find the time to read through this. Thanks for your efforts to help him though, allthough I pretty much knew it was a dead race from start, judging from his comments Sorry Clone for the work load u put in. You shouldn't be THAT nice to people. They wont learn that way Jut look at me, and how I learned to do all of this in 4-5 months... lol

Well, I have the time. I always have time. I have all the stuff I need, so the mods can delete all the extra thread stuff. I'll have the turtorial up. It will help people who have the game installed to C:\

I can't refuse to help someone (unless its at school and they want my answers). The only reason why I stopped is because my dad told me to get off.

Capn, the provided shortcut when downloaded should fit your needs. Which makes me think, I could provide a ready made shortcut for download.

This is version 1.1. Please suggest any changes to font, spelling errors, etc.

99.999999999% of the people here could probably care less whether I do this or not, but it helps the .0000000000001% that actually need the help.
Nazgul, I looked at your readme, way to short for people who haven't used a mod before.

This time, I have v1.2 (I tried to make it look nicer, words can get hard to look at), and the actual shortcut with everything already there. If that doesn't work, wow, something has got to be wrong.

EDIT: The shortcut does not download. I guess the tutorial will have to be used.
