I celebrate getting the night off for my birthday.
I had to fight for it and it'll be worth it.
Only 2 more things to sort for my birthday now Alcohol and a clean house.

Oh yeah, I went to Hobbiton yesterday. Be jealous! (Or pity me for my nerdiness)

They're rebuilding the set right now, so I had to sign a nondisclosure agreement (can't post pictures :( ). Still, it was really cool, and I got my picture taken underneath the Party Tree, haha.

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

I celebrate my new monitor and with it the ability to see red once more.
Although it might be a bit of overkill on the red atm better tweak it.

In other news, I got my Halo Wars back after my friend kept forgetting to give it back. Needless to say, he loved it. :p As do I... :D

I just whooped Antimalware Doctor's ass with a system restore. Also, I'm going to see Keane play a live show in New York City next Friday.

Vort, you can now celebrate again. I've taken your recommendation to heart and managed to borrow a copy of the entire Firefly series. And once I'm done with that, I'll borrow Serenity from the same dude to finish it all up! :thumbsdownsmiley:

What, the entire 3 episodes? :p

Seriously though, Firefly is a fine series, but you should check out BSG (the new version, of course) :)
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

It's a crying shame Fox went ahead and did what they did best (read: were a bunch of dicks) to Firefly. What I really don't understand is why Joss Whedon went back to Fox for Dollhouse. The second season just felt kinda rushed, because it had to be because of stupid gay Fox executives.

Anyway, by now you should have watched the whole series. Let's celebrate that.
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

...the whole series and Serenity. :)

And I fail to see how I resemble Captain Reynolds in any way. :p

Also, I'll celebrate getting a letter of acceptance from Thomas Edison State College. I'm now free to enroll, take a few classes, and finish up this Bachelor's degree.

I loved my expedition. Soooo much. The activities, the team members, the people, the culture, the mere feel of it - it was all soo good. Fuck home, I want to go travelling. Or, at least go back to the Kisima Secondary School (which I might do next year for a month), because I loved those students. I'm really sad that I'm home - not a home, but a house of habit. Home is a frame of mind.

My sister (of 19 years) bought a 1936 German gas mask from a carboot sale in jolly old Chorleywood, for £55. It is too cool.
