I can't believe that worked. Awesome.

Try that in Zurich and you'll be run over by 3 cars before you've even raised your hand. Our traffic is way too aggressive.I walked around the city at night, and went to look out over the river. When I walked back, it was around 6:45, and cars were suddenly everywhere. I crossed a very busy street, the crossing point split in two sections, meaning two traffic lights to wait for. I don't mind waiting, but I thought I'd try a little experiment. The second light turned red right as I arrived at the mid-section, so I lifted my hands and motioned calmly for the mass of drivers to keep their feet on the brakes a bit longer. I saw their faces stare at me, some of them surprised, some annoyed, but none of them started driving. I crossed the street, all the while motioning calmly for them to remain, and so they did. When I reached the other side, I turned around, waited for a few seconds, then signaled it was alright for them to get going.
I can't believe that worked. Awesome.

Sieben Elefanten hatte Herr Dschin
Und da war dann noch der achte.
Sieben waren wild und der achte war zahm
Und der achte war's, der sie bewachte.

basis for this, is that it's a change of scenery. It's different than what you're used to, so
it looks better. (A psychological thing)
...Thanks for the compliment on Rhun though. Actually, I celebrate the fact that Spart likes my
Rhun map. I think that qualifies for the "random" part of the thread title.
BTW: Matias...umm...that's cool. That's all I can say. Although somehow the post itself seemed
more interesting than the event described...Artiste Nouveau indeed.
BTW: dunno wut that means. I don't speak french.

If you're referring to Minas Tirith, Top of the Wall, then yes. Unfortunately, they only showed up once all of the siege towers were down, the overrun meter was gone, and you really didn't need them at all except to prevent you from getting killed right after you finished all the work in the level.Hey, those gondorian swordsmen on the walls during that one level were pretty awesome
My first celebration is that my high school won its homecoming [American] football game last night by one point... very happy moment for all alumni and current students of the grand old orange and blue.
Also, what Ranger said.

Beat AQ this afternoon. w00t w00t! And had dinner with five girls and am off to have ice cream with two more. I may not be the Homecoming King, but I'm definitely the king of homecoming.
