It's been ages since I've been excited over a game and just had to finish it as quickly as possible.
Last one I remember was Fable which I finished in 2 days at the 35 hour mark.

Well, it wasn't to finish it as quickly as possible (which would've gone much sooner), but to complete it as quickly as possible.
For the record, I spent 14 hours the first day, 2 hours the next (work), 8 the next and 8 yesterday.
