I just listened to Love Story by Taylor swift at the loudest my speakers in my house could go, and I yelled as I was signing the song. god I love being home alone.

w00t!

After an exciting voting in front of thousands of people in a fully packed Moscow Olimpisky Indoor Arena and millions of TV viewers all over Europe, it was finally Alexander Rybak from Norway who received the highest number of points from televoters and juries from the 42 countries participating in this year's edition of Europe's favourite TV-show! Norway managed to gather 387 points altogether - a new record! -, followed by Yohanna from Iceland with 218 points and Azerbaijan's AySel & Arash who collected 207 points.

Match that, suckers ;)

Yes, that's from the Eurovision Song Contest

The can better call it the 'East-Eurovision Songcontest' now.
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

We came 5th? Who was our entry? Oh, and Lauri: was the Norwegian entrant a black metal band? As far as I'm aware that's all Norway has ever produced. :p

A poorman's Leona Lewis. And the Norwegian entry was a singer/violinist/composer/actor.

I celebrate my swollen face, which I got this weekend from some pretty bad sunburn.

Apparently it's not a good idea to celebrate the first summer-like weekend by swimming all day one day and going to the mountain to to some ice climbing practice and stuff, without sunscreen, when you haven't seen the light of a real sun all winter and spring long :p I hate being white. My brother stole all the dark-skinned genes that my hybrid mother had to give, and left me with all the whiteness of my father :)
