...The Journey doesn't end here; death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass. And then you see it. White shores...and beyond. A far green country, under a swift sunrise...
...Many folk like to know beforehand what is to be set on the table; but those who have laboured to prepare the feast like to keep their secret; for wonder makes the words of praise louder...
...Stand, Men of the West! Stand and wait! This is the hour of doom... ~ Gandalf the White, The Return of the King

Dimrill Dales has 8 I think, Grey Mountains 1.Nice work they look great.
So how many minfaction plots are there on each?
I could see one on the Grey Mountains map.
Each player has access to 2 Econ flags, one of which is guarded by a troll. That helps to keep resources down a bit because it shouldn't be a spam map. Therefore Fellbeasts would be very late game. That 3rd lair is guarding a MF plot, which cannot be accessed over the river, only by the mountain path, although archers could reach it from the north side, in which case I'll have to edit that bit.damn matt. you made some fun looking maps there.
it seems the Nazgul on their fellbeast will be able to do some major damage in the Grey Mountains. Fly over, attack lots of units, fly back over the mountains while enemy has to go through the pass and they start to heal and prepare of another attack. also, does right base have a second troll lair next to it? left base looks like it has 2 unless my eyes are going on me.
cant wait to finally have a 6 player map with castles. one thing i noticed on it. it seems the center left player has an advantage when it comes to creeping. it has a 2 goblin lairs in front of it while the bottom left has to go in front of center left's base. and top right has to go down to either center or bottom right's base.
still im going to play those maps over most of EA's.

These look great! Only one minifaction plot on the Grey Mountains, you say? Sounds like a big control spot.
Can't wait to see what you guys release today!

Something from me this week
And if you haven't done already, check out my Minas Morgul map I have done for GothmogtheOrc
One is a screenshot of a map I did a couple of months ago, called the Dimrill Dale. It is the valleys on the east side of the Misty Mountains near Lothlorien. Screen looks a bit monotextured, but I assure you it looks a lot better up close
The other is the Grey Mountians, which is a small range of mountains in the north. This is actual one I found on MEVault, originally by Lost_Hawk, but I balanced it, improved the terrain and completely retextured it. It is a very unique map, and hopefully fun too
the second one loooks realllly awesome
A light from the shadow shall spring.

As a former original beta tester myself I'll make sure that your still remembered Turin. Also Mablung still has a place in as well, pending on if he can play BfME in a barracks in Iraq in his spare time.

Don't worry Dain, your all powerful and all knowing, not kind
If I had any skill with modding I would help, but I am lacking.

Woodsman animations by Lauri, Great Beast animations by cahik, and Dwarf weapons by Nertea.
I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

Anyway, to the update(s): I like the Great Beast anim, you can see the shifting of weight with each step it takes. Nice attention to detail. For the Dwarven Weaponry, I honestly sat up in my seat and said,"woah" after the page was done loading. Brilliant job, Nertea. And as to the Woodsman...my first thought was,"yeah, that's not conceited." lmao, it shows great personality in the guy.
Off Topic: Does this mean Lauri's going to get his own smiley to counter Cahik's?
Cheers, and fantastic job guys,
-mike
