Well, I am making a mod that needs whole new skeletons and skins.
The coding seems to be no problem, but the model creating is driving me crazy
I got G-MAX and I tried making an skeleton. Compare the results to a normal skeleton (aragorn):
I also got other probs on modelling, as that geometry is not flexible enough with vertex, etc
So, could you plz tell me how to make "normal bones" or even recommend a better free program?
Thx

those are normal bones. the ones you see in aragorns skeleton are not
try the tutorials in EA's mod SDK, it's how I tried my first bits of animation (after that I stopped, btw )

Does anyone know if 3ds MAX will be able to make me make models and skeletons easily? I wonder if I should stick with normal g-max...
Thx to old Sharb for the sig.

maybe a bit late but i didnt notice that before. well you can those bones for making skeletons, just make sure to give it propes setting. overaly everything can be bone...for example you can make skl from boxes on such things if you want and you can resize the bone down
