I put all the files in my application data/ROTWK folder under maps, and nothing happened. Where does it go? Where is the true map folder.

sometimes the folder doesn't work and the map, tga and other files are loosly in the map folder not under a map folder name so that's why it might not work.

Just so you guys know Beserkidiot left modding BFME and has quit this project. However myself and Lascar (McLovin) are going to be continuing this project on the map.ini side. This is a very early screenshot of the Earth Realm master I am making but for full updates etc please visit IP where he main topic by Pasidon is.

I have to ask you a favor... First of all it looks REALLY great, very nice

BUT i only have bfme2, :(

COULD YOU PLEEZE MAKE A NEW WAR OF THE REALMS FOR JUST BFME 2

and try to donnot make it so it goes Out Of Synch continiously bec. that's why people don't play it anymore... Which is too bad

I can only hope you're willing to make a version for just bfme2 but
ty anyway (ingame name, steeffromlorien)

Too bad, it's too much effort to port it over. And you lose a heck of a lot of the stuff. Besides, I'm not so sure if this thing is even carrying on anyway

Errrrm... right. About the Realms. Obviously Wombat quit the map, and won't work on it again. I, on the other hand, don't want to quit but don't know 123 on an ini number scale. But no worries, out mussilem freind Lascar and the cuddely bear Grizzles has agreed to finish it. I have indisputable evidence (That's right, I have MSN conversation recorders). So I'll get back if I ever get progress out of them.

Errrrm... shut up old me. An obvious lie I came up with to fool myself... like those buffoons would actually do anything. But it has been more than half a year since I tried to finish this map and it still haunts me. This was meant to be the greatest map of all times and it turned into the greatest downfall of all time... even greater downfall than Babylon. Many good mappers quit after working on this, sadly me being one of them, and even after half a year of shutting it all down, I am still haunted by all the work I put into it.

I may end up regretting this... but I am actually bringing this all back to life. I can't do crap on ini still, and my mapping skills may or may not have faded after all of this time. I will bring back all the work we started from and finish this old legend among maps. IP is lazy these days since we're back under construction, so now I turn to Revora.

So heres the deal. I need a team of mappers and ini specialists who will be dedicated to working on this thing until it's done and people who are the best at this line of work. If I can get that together, I will ask for a hosting spot and I will personally guide the old work schedule like it was meant too be done. The map is pretty much done, but advanced ini people are mostly needed here. I don't have the game installed anymore and I don't even know if I still have the map... know someone who does, so it will all be finished so the glory this monster was supposed to receive will still be gained. So I please ask for willing volunteers to finish this old master's one last wish for this game.

I wouldn't mind signing up, I've always wanted this project to be finished. We really should have made it an IP project, but that wasn't feasible I suppose.

Pasidon chill in your posts, and stop talking about how great you are please :shiftee2:

Could you also give us a brief description of the project? (I wasn't around when it was "alive")
What's what makes it different from a common skirmish map? What are the new features?

How about reading through the pages? And FYI Pasidon is an excellent, well-renowned mapper. Most likely one of the best. If you've got nothing creative to input, zip it.
