As I’ve mentioned in previous posts D-day’s terrain is having an overhaul atm. One thing that has always daunted me is working on the cliffs (they normally end up looking like grey blobs), however I dug in & got to it yesterday redoing all of the natural cliffs.

The cliffs look awesome but those slopes are ugly


Yeah I Agree the Cliffs look really nice But Slopes/ramps have always looked bad in YR

Very nice, and I love the slopes. Though the grass terrain looks a little glossy but I guess thats why your giving it an overhaul.

I think the grass is fine, I've been using the same texture for years :mellow: As for the slopes that’s just the way RA2 is, not much I can do.

Good job at the cliffs :good:. I understand what you mean about the slopes but oh well if it can't be helped we'll have to live with it. The grass looks good to me tbh.

The cliffs are insanely detailed and realistic. I do not see anything wrong with slopes tbh, infact they come through much better than standard RA2 slopes.

Only thing that gets a bit to me is the minor bright spots (on the cliffs), but that may just be me.
If people were more constructive with their comments, then this place would be more enjoyable

Making the tiles that WW left out will be a challenge. It was easy with the urban ones because there flat but I have to recreate rock faces at different angles :good:

What made you think that grass is 10 feet tall? I try to make everything fit to the scale of the units :/
