Yes. It is not codeable. Aircraft Carrier is not possible to make.

Yes, I know about Aircraft Carrier from one of Zero Hour simgle player missions. It is not a carrier at all. It can not move. It is just stationary airfield which looks like a carrier.

It is codable but only by tricking the engine and it works bad, but it works.

Well I dont know realy but it was done already and the programer sayed that its so bug its not worth it and he only made it to prove it is posible.

so , why don't a moving "airport" building ?


in fact , i want to at least have some navy like the x47 mod...
there are missile/gun using ships , and they can move .
(but all generals added with navy needs lots of time to make X_X)

once , i built the port on land in x47...
and then the battleship built on land which can't move , become my uber defense building XD

um...i have something to add...(but can't edit , so i reply again)
may be a drone carrier on sea can replace the aircraft carrier ?
(can it be moded and "drones" that looks like planes , flying over its head , once that are "regen-ed")

No. Moving airport can not be done. I (as well as many other moders) tried to make it. Airport can move everywhere. Planes always stay glued to ground. This is why nobody made aircraft carriers.

As for Navy, shipyard can not be made properly. Players are able to build ships on the ground. It is inadmissible.

Theres always the option of building maps with capturable shipyards built into the Map. they can even be setup akin to the reinforcment pads... say 2 types of ship yard, light ships and heavy ships. Different ships for every faction...

Or, they can be regular production facilities with a different command set for each general/faction.


The buildings can be capturable on the coast end, and the spawn point for the ships well into the water.



This idea works, but it also demands alot of work to make custom maps for naval combat. (though truely you'd need custom maps regardless)

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

dozer stand by the edge of sea , and the shipyard is built inside the sea .

with that mod , all map with sea can play navy @@"

Yes, but doing it that way causes certain bugs that are entirely unacceptable.

i am back again...
with some ideas came out just after i woke up this morning .

can something like "tunnel network" be the base of carrier @@?
if air force can't get into the tunnel ,
can it be solved by
planes which can switch to "land mode" like chem gen's toxin plane .

P.S. it will be better if the plane auto land and take off near by the carrier...
if it can be controled by player , may be there will be a group of F35 "standing" on the sea...
(think about macross @_@")


lastly , please forgive my english...i am not good in language ~"~

In shockwave mod you can build ships but when you dont place Shipyard near the sea, your ships will go underground...Also ships are overpowered.:rolleyes:

My favourite early game unit is nuclear crushers, (as now ive made all rocket soildiers shoot up :unsure:)
mid game is Nuke migs
and favy super unit is berta and HNC

yes i like nuke gen :p

My fav early game unit is Flame gens Dragon tank and mid game would be...nuke migs I think as I dont know anything else :p..last would be the Laser gen 5k unit or the Hell spawn :umad:
