Hi

I want my hero resisting all negative effects, including the Crippling strike by Lurtz. So i looked after the weapon. There I found that it works only against HERO units. But when is an hero an hero? When he is defined in BuildableHeroes or whatelse?

Can I change, in any way, that my hero cannot be a target for the crippling strike after level 7? Maybe in changing that he is not an hero anymore? But how?

Sorry for my bad english, but i am really bad at english.

well a hero is defined in -like Aragorn- the hero ini as UNIT CLASS or in a line KINDOF you can see HERO ..

and you can change the target , go to weapon.ini and look for LurtzStunBowWarhead then go down to AttributeModifierNugget there you can see this line SpecialObjectFilter = CRIPPLE_STRIKE_OBJECT_FILTER next go to

gamedata.ini click search and paste CRIPPLE_STRIKE_OBJECT_FILTER here you can change the affect for the target , now how to make a hero immune to it , i will take aragorn an examble ..

define CRIPPLE_STRIKE_OBJECT_FILTER NONE +HERO -GondorAragorn -MordorBalrog -GondorGwaihir -GondorGwaihir_Summoned -MordorFellBeast -MordorWitchKingOnFellBeast -RohanTreeBerd -RohanEntFir -RohanEntFir_Summoned -RohanEntBirch_Summoned -TomBombadil -TomBombadil_Summoned -Drogoth -ElvenFortressEagle
#define MORGULBLADE_OBJECT_FILTER ANY +HERO +INFANTRY +CAVALRY -MONSTER -MACHINE -STRUCTURE -MordorBalrog -GondorGwaihir -GondorGwaihir_Summoned -MordorFellBeast -MordorWitchKingOnFellBeast -RohanTreeBerd -RohanEntFir -RohanEntFir_Summoned -RohanEntBirch_Summoned -TomBombadil -TomBombadil_Summoned -Drogoth -ElvenFortressEagle ENEMIES

just add the hero name like in his object. if you don't get it just ask.

best regard
