ok...well now i'm kinda stuck with something which is:
I am trying to do a guardian GI missile copy(you know,when its deployed) and mostly i am interested in making it leave an different trail.
How do i do that?

well yeah but i suck in coding mostly missiles,warheads and anims part

also i forgot to tell the bad news(goddamnit!)
my computer had viruses few das ago and deleted my whole RA2YR directory also that meaning the whole mod.
Also seeing that creating a TC isnt quite for me i started it all and(yes...) i started working at an normal YR mod(like AG:Shattered Aliance,MO,apocalipse etc.)
Thats why sunday i'l post a(big picz!) soviet update(sunday cuz its not finished)
Hopefully,it will feature a lot of units and redesigns.

If you wanna know that afterburn effect that you asked about for missiles like the GGI or the IFV I'd look in the tutorials that's how I learned it

I also had some viruses on PC, fortunately no such virulent. Some Trojans and Spyware...
Don't worry, new begin is sometimes better.
Now I am gonna fix some of my old graphic (and WW gr. too), so I know, how hard it is.

I hate those idiots, who make these virus shits, it's pretty pointless, unless they can steal
something. :p

also an other problem i try to add a tank drop but it gives me an IE.
I used the example in the NPSE MDK for the MouseCursors section

(1) think logically when modding - for example, you want to give soviets a aircraft, allies use harrier, you copy code and use a different [ ] name and a new Image, you then search for ORCA, and make sure you add the new [ ] to end of list e.g. Dock= PadAircraft=, save progress for transport (flak track), tank (grizzly, lasher light tank) as the base for your code then you modify e.g. better speed etc, its like a basic step in modding

(2) RP/NPatch whatever you are using is for advanced users. If you can't add a basic aircraft, I think adding a new superweapon is a bit too much. Also NP/RP has a host of bugs leading to reconnection, internal errors. The tutorial with the MDK should be enough. They often (unfortuantly) have mistakes or grammar issues, deal with it.

(3) Seriously think of some new ideas ok? I looked at allied barracks from RA2, I looked at RA1 barracks. It fits ag: sa as its a retro style mod. What style do you want from your war? At moment its some generic random mod with countries, wow .. you couldn't even be arsed to choose a different texture like dark grey or something.

Also we have internet now? You've played RTS, google words and see what happens in image search.

For example if soviets were underground dwellers surviving a nuclear holocaust, there barracks would be a old ruined silo or simply a bunker with a blast door.

Personally if you can't think of any original ideas then you should just stop modding for the moment because a million mods have the following

- a strong tank for usa called abrams
- mig has good missiles
- hind fires rockets
- soviets have mobile war factory

2.i have to agree.yes it may be a little too much for me
3.i really thinked that last night.But still i will mod trying to make my mod unique and different to the others but still i will have to make some things that other mods have.As you said many times,many mods have cliches which are mostly:
-Iron fist with new look war factory
-the centurion

Yeah, but they can also have different weapons.
For Cigar helicopter (czech soldiers called Mi-24/35 so):
Real Mi-35 has 4-barreled gattling 9-A-624(12,7 mm) or double Gsh-23 (23mm) in front + missiles under "wings".

Czech army uses modernized Cigars, T-72 m4, L-159 fighters, ZUZANA(=SUSSY) howitzers, VĚRA (or older TAMARA) passive detectors, anti-chemical troopers, specialists(commandos) cleaning Afghanistan from Taliban... And I forgot on these problematic Gripens or crappy Pandurs (they are so small and weak).

The reason why I said this is that you asked how to fix your mig problem, you had obviously not thought logically as you just copied the blpn code instead of harrier code. There is a major difference between knowing and actually doing

As for overused ideas, if you add something generally interesting it might actually work.

e.g. a new helicopter model, a new function, something to spice it up basically.

For example Chrono Prison - wow it instantly kills a unit in 1 hit *yawn*
