Is Rivendell's current fortress (the EA one) going to be kept for anything? I was thinking you could use it for Mirkwood, since it's proving to be tough coming up with ideas for a Mirkwood fortress. All you'd really have to do is add lots of vines and maybe change some of the blue colours to dark green.
And instead of having an Eagle for the final upgrade, you could add the power I came up with, which is the Will-O-the-Wisp or Mistlights (okay, awful names) power. Which releases a bright light, which blinds all nearby enemy units (reduces LOS, weakens attack and armor, causes to flee in terror).

As rob said in his post, he did Rivendell first because he doesn't think he's good enough yet to handle Mirkwood.

Yeh, no way are we using EA's fortress for mirkwood. Expect something much cooler... As cool as this rivendell one and the lothlorien one we showed a while back...

Well, the hard part with the current Elven Fortress is the fact that it is not really any Elven faction as far as I can tell. It's more like a concept of all areas of the Elves put together. The buildings have some of Rivendell, Lothlorien, Lindon, etc. and I don't think they could represent any faction. I really like the structures, but it's hard to see a place for them at this point. (Or at least right at this moment.)
