Some problems may appear because of the lack of accurate speed measure of some vehicles, because I believe PR will use canon speed as he did with starships. But I believe the rest are viable.

Anyone remember these from the original Rogue Squadron? Smaller ones could be good attack vehicles and the larger things cargo/troop carriers.

From Force Commander. Main guns anti-infantry, similar in firepower to an AT-PT's twin blasters. The side pod could shoot flak like the AT-AA. Vehicle should be relatively fast.
T3-B Heavy Attack Tank

Two main guns could be similar power to an AT-AT's laser cannons. Fires in bursts (possibly linked). And it's missile pods could be similar to the weapons on Plex Troopers just heavier.
V-Wing Airspeeder

Perhaps to bring them into battle you need the V-Wing transports in the fleet to deploy them into the atmosphere...hmm...
Wonder what niche these could fill, though, should be faster and more nimble than T-47 Airspeeder....oh and have the rapid-fire ability to punch through enemy targets.

I really don't care if the AAC-1 is in the mod or not it was not that good but it is canon.And also that stuff from Star Wars battlefront not consistent enough.

DF.9 anti-infantry artillery.Could have a upgrade to the Twin DF.9 with the addition of firepower at the cost of armor. The imperals also used these.
SRV.Could ugrade to SRV Repulsorlift.
Mobile Proton Torpedo Launcher.First version of the one in the game.
Ultra Light Assault Vehicle. Phased out of the empire for lack of intimidation. Ha

Never heard of the game but some vehicles are good.Lets try to avoid ANYTHING that was made just for Galactic Battlegrounds...

I'd accept the Force Commander version.
Just Galactic Battlegrounds didn't even feel like Star Wars it made little sense and the vehicles were made for the game...granted same with Force Commander but Force Commander felt way more like Star Wars.

I just don't want this turning into a messed-up mod.
Yeah but your opinion of a messed-up mod is different from others. For example, you seem to hate prequel vehicles, while I consider that some of them could go in the mod, like the Gian speeder. So just let people show their suggestions, and PR will decide which are viable and which are not to be considered.

The AAC I don't like it but it is still a good idea.
Think what the rebels had and would use and that would make it a good mod. Now that I think about it they used anything that could be mounted with weapons. Very few of the thing the rebels had (or stole) was built for warfare they just added weapons to it and attacked with it.

anyway back to the topic at hand... i was bored and figured i'd look around wookieepedia some for rebel unit ideas (i prefer rebs over imps).
found a few interesting things, mostly new ideas for this topic. problem is some seem to have canon problems, but i figured i'd through them out there.
AHS-1 heavy assault airspeeder
A sort of land based K-wing is the impression i got
MLC-3 Mobile Laser Cannon
ehh very sketchy but just an idea
T-16 skyhopper
hey if it wasn't for practice in this (and the force) Luke may never have bulls-eyed that Death Star vent

maybe only build-able on Bespin, rebs and imps?

a new slightly more canon transport?
Tarrvin-on-Kallik aerospace fighters
as seen in Starfighters of Adumar of the X-wing novels. only build-able at Adumar of course...if it is even in the mod that is
as far as rebel units go that's all i found for now. i did find some CSA units if anyone is interested, but i figured it'd be better to focus on main fractions. some more diversity for CSA or pirate ground units could be nice in far off versions/updates though lol

I dont think the BLADE serise would be used, as there are GREATLY out done by even the Hoth Snow Speeder....Tarrvin-on-Kallik aerospace fighters
