The Jigsaw Theory can repair most damage to a timeline in a short amount of time, unless too much was attributed to what was removed. Then, it takes time to heal, like a deeper wound can take weeks to heal up, while a papercut can last for a few days.

OLD SIG
When history witnesses a great change Razgriz reveals itself,
first as a dark demon. As a demon it uses it power to rain death upon the land,
and then it dies. However after a period of slumber Razgriz returns
As the demon sleeps, man turns on man.
Its own blood, and madness soon cover the earth.
From the depths of despair awaken the Razgriz.
Its raven wings ablaze in majestic light.
Amidst the eternal waves of time
From a ripple of change shall the storm rise
Out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon
Behold the Razgriz, its wings of black sheath
The demon soars through the dark skies
Fear and Death trail its shadow beneath
Until Men united wield a hallowed sabre
In Final Reckoning, the beast is slain.
Razgriz intrerpretation

Mirage was not one of the things RA1 had. Chrono technology...yes, but mirage? No. They did have some sort of cloaking ability that suddenly vanished, though. But that wasn't mirage.

Well, unless you two are oblivious to the topic, you would realise the whole point is to say that the Mirage tank is not in Ra1. The Phase Transport (I believe thats what Rentt was talking about) which was in Ra1 "disappeared" from view, unlike Mirage tanks which just change their visible form.

Yeah. It was the Phase Transport. Course, the word phase tells you already that the technology was much more different than mirage technology. Makes me wonder whatever happened to it.

was too nod like, so they scrapped it probably...

and you do know the original purpose of chrono was to try and make the ship invisible, but instead it teleported it...
(or thats how i heard the story goes, as its based on a supposed 'real' even)

For our less enlightened members, he's talking about an alleged experiment undertaken by the US Navy in the early 40s, called the Philadelphia Experiment. I say alleged because at the minute, it's nothing more than a conspiracy theory. With World War 2 still in progress, the Navy tried to use technology to take advantage of Einstein's postulated Unified Field Theory (go Google it, I'm not going to explain it here), to try to make a ship invisible. This was fitted onto the USS Eldridge, a destroyer. Apparently, when the fields were activated, the ship completely dissapeared from the Philadelphia docks. Crew at the Norwich docks in Virginia (where the ship was originally moored before going to Philadelphia) claimed to see the ship at their docks for a brief moment, before it faded out again. When the ship appeared back in the Philadelphia dock, many crew members were found ill, or with brain damage - their minds being essentially degaussed. Some people were even said to be fused to the hull of the ship. And so the project was terminated.

Or so the story goes, anyway
