I literally CANNOT finish a match against the Tank General AI on any difficulty, even 1v1. The game randomly crashes no matter what I'm doing, even looking into the shroud away from its base. The tooltip string for the Nuclear Storm is missing as well. Now that I read through this, you need to start a bug thread.


I have this too.

Playing as Assault i could not use the Field defense power. Anyone else with this problem?

I haven't had this much fun playing generals in a long time, thanks Creator. Btw it would seem you made the game much more stable. Runs a lot faster as if it were vanilla generals. ;)

But one final thing, can you PLEASE look into the skirmishscripts file at the Spectre Gunship's global spawn script? The auto-select-for-every-player-bug needs to be corrected by someone, and I can't think of anyone better. I've looked at literally every piece of its INI code and the one thing that killed my chances was the tag ForbidPlayerCommands = Yes ; my WorldBuilder won't work so I can't try myself. There are also numerous typos still present. The mod shouldn't have been released in this condition.



Strange...Tank works fine... :/

Also about the Spectre bug, it's a SAGE bug and is unfixable without the source code...

About the mod being released thing, well alot of people were impatient and asking 'WEN CONTRA 006?' I honestly didn't mind if Contra was released later, tbh later releases could ensure more bug fixes.

I agree 100%. And the Cyborg Commando Rock and I love the new voices.

Is there any way to start with more than 10k? The bots don't rush and their attacks are much slower since they seem to not generate funds as quickly.

Sorry for the double post, since I cannot edit a guest log in. I don't mind playing with 10k, but can I give the bots more money? So it's more of a challenge.

Seriously? What a load. I wish EALA had interest in making a 1.05 patch, but then again it's not a new thing to wish that.

It still should have been thoroughly checked and the strings proof-read better before release.

The Config file named Skirmish, look at the sixth line Starting Cash = 10000. Change this to what you would like, The bots get the same amount as you I belive.This only works for skirmishs as far as I know. and when you go to skirmish it will stay say 10000, but when you start the game you have the variable you enetered.

I think most of you figured this out already. :p

but to get the launcher to work with TFD you only have to extend the Instal path with the name of your zero hour folder.

Whenever I try to play this mod, I notice I can only pick 10k and the AI will most the time just quit after 10 seconds or so. All I did was use the RAR self extracting file. It didn't ask me for what language or anything. Any ideas anyone?

As for starting money, you can pick 10k only. there is no other choice.
As for AI, what do you mean? What does "quit after 10 seconds" mean? Elaborate it in details.

When i play as Stealth i can not find the Jammer Station. Was it removed or did i mess some thing up?

Jammer station has the same icon as the old generals supply stash.

Hm, seems a lot was removed from the website's building and unit list. Or at least most of what I was most excited about.

The only removed thing is experience buying ability.

The mod shouldn't have been released in this condition.

It was 2 rounds of beta testing. More than 100 of bugs had been found and fixed. I released it only after I and testers played it and saw no more bugs.

They usually get 20k in the very begining.

You have to unpack the mod and change scripts in each map. It is not very easy.
But I will slow down campaign and challenge in next version.

Mh...I can start from launcher...it takes a while launching and then here we go...
I have german zh version and everything changed to english but thats okay thats because of the english translation and english csf I think.
I can also choose Robots General and all...but nothing changed. Absolutely nothing.
The shell map is also vanilla.
So besides the text and descriptions nothing changed. Even no new unit thumbnails...
Wtf is wrong? :/ I cant solve it...

I couldn't get the launcher to work, so I installed it permanently,The config works when I change it, but once I restart my computer, it does reset it to 10k.
