There's a new sneak peek on. Are we allowed to hope that this is a sign of renewed activity?
Am I Belgian or Flemish? Hmm, me thinks I'll just stick to European...

As long as the hope police aren't around :good:
I am curious to see the Carrock in game.
DIGI showed me the model and it looks good.

I know obviously no one is planning to quit etc but as work seems (based on updates ) to be slowing down and as you guys are getting older and your interests may be waning, if it ever came to it and the RA couldnt go on would a smaller version of the mod be put together to avoid years of work not being used?

If interest in the mod was completely lost, which I hope never happens, who know what?

but I hope above all it is not reduced in size because of lost interest, I for one was just regaining my love for Lord of the Rings. The Mod team were always the most dedicated group I've ever known of, tackling a project so massive, almost like Peter Jackson's challenge on directing the LotR trilogy. So few accomplished so much.

I'd hate all that splendour to be filtered down to a mere shadow of what it could have been.
I will remember Rhovanion Alliance, RIP .

me too, but if things do slow down to a halt, is something better than nothing? i wouldn't mind having some of the new bits rather than non.

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.

The way that RA seems to work if people leave the mod for whatever reason their jobs will likely be taken up by someone else which is an advantage to the large team.
RA will finish who'll still be around at the end remains to be seen.

I wonder if Whopper will come back for the event?

Because he's moved on, switched games, lost interest for now and might return later. Who knows? Point is I think he knows Dain is doing a great job as teamleader and probably thinks he doesn't need to return.

Plus his mod looks interesting to me... the old Total War games seemed to be too much Europe centric and large faction centric, I'm always fond of mods where the underdogs and remote peoples of history can be played and change history and I have high hopes for Empire: Total War.
